Look for the adds that look like Used parts. (not that yours look used) BUT, like the visors. they are held on with 3M tape right?

I would ask the police if you could Browse the traffic cams in the area for your car. who knows they might let you. that way it's not "wasting" their time....

dude... as bad as it sucks... and eventhough our's havent been stolen yet.... our scions are like our babies too.. honestly you have to look at it this way... I dont care what alarm you put on, anti-theft device, etc... bottom line is this... if someone wants a specific car to steal.... there's not much you can do about it....it will happen. So the best you can do on anything you put into it aftermarket is say somewhere underneath the part out of sight...give it a unique mark and log it with a photo and keep it somewhere safe.

best I can think of is lo-jack installed in a place that very uncommon to have it installed on a vehicle. Maybe then it'd catch the little bastards red-handed.

Maybe there's a way to wire the car, That way if anyone touches it while it's activated they'd get a good ZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP! You know.. just enough to stun them. Not kill em..

Sorry to hear about your ride....gave me flashbacks to when I was 19 & my geo Storm got stolen. Don't laugh, they were OK cars 14 years ago.
Noob question and I don't mean to thread-jack.....but I thought the chip in the key was supposed to prevent the car from being started w/o it. I should do more homework, but what's the use and or is it only on certain models?
Car thieves are modern horse thieves...bring back the old western resolution.

well yes there is.......Ford makes a nice little capacitor that you can magnet rith to the frame and then take the wire and attach it with a magnet soldered on and it works great.......not that I would know such things........

Problem is if you are not careful you get shocked attaching it to the car........and well that really hurts.........also not that I would know......lol
