okay. im going to make an excutive decision. because everyone else here is aparently not able to just make a decide so i will. i vote we go bowling. its fun, cheap, and lasts a long time.

we cant go to sonic because its outside, and its suposed to be raining. krispy kreme....is getting old. if you dont want to do bowling..maybe just a parking garage/ covere'd parking we could all meet up at and park and chit chat a bit.

something indoors/under covers. thats all i have to say.

Ok seriously standing inside under cover with lights, how freakin lame is that!! I think I'll go to the club alone then... That has become way to big of a decision! And amie: how the hell do you know what we are doing next month if we cant even decide what we are doing this month?

NO PEOPLE IM NOT TRYING TO GET RID OF HER BY ASKING A QUESTION LIKE THAT OK!!!! (mainly based at people in the NICK!! thread)

Not that I will be there, but I was to the understanding that there was a meeting of the minds last weekend at Glens house. At this meeting they (Eric/Heather/Glen) were suppose to talk extensively about the 2007 schedule, the shirts for the PDX group and something else if I remember correctly.

I have asked for the minutes to be posted on the SE page for all to see and consider. But it was to my understanding that this info was also going to be brought forth to the SE members at this M&G.

Not that this should misdirect your indecisive meeting post going on here, but this should also be considered as time worthy material for our SE chapters future.

oh and the reason Heather knows where and when? Because there is a schedule posted reflecting this info. The reason it's posted is for new comers to know where and when the SE group will be meeting at. By not sticking to the scheduled meeting places, it puts either Eric, Glen or Heather sitting at the original meeing place just incase someone new shows up.

Shifting the meeting place to Sonic was a great idea. It's just a bad time of year to be standing outside. Regardless of the situation, the meeting point should stay the same. Where the group goes from there is up in the air.

Just my opinion

thats fine and dandy. but im not in SE...nor do i have plans to go into SE. i didnt realize these were Scion Evolution meet and greets. i thought they were just scion meet and greets to get people interested int he scion community. im sorry but we should not conjoin the two aspects of scion being SE and then just Scion. If you SE people want to have your own "meets" be my guest. but if these meets are surrounded by the SE people and the SE minds...then that is...well for better lack of words...bull Sh@t. Im not on the SE forums, nor will i go overe there, so how do i get my information about the "head peoples" decisions on what happens with the meet and greets?

im not trying to offend anyone, but i do think its time for a change in the places we meet. i see that elmers has changed to steak burger...how about this third one changes to some kind of indoor/under cover location. since the car show season is dead....i understand why everyone wants to DO something rather than just meet talk and blah. we dont get to do car shows and sit around hang out show the cars, so people want to go do things i.e. movies/go carts/bowling/bulwinkles and wahtever else.

i just dont think it should be an SE decision of how things are handled because not all of us are in SE. Keep in mind this is not an attack at heather/glen/erik nor an attack on SE its self. im just stating my stance on things.

birds of a feather

You read into a very honest and innocent post. Your feelings towards SE is fine and dandy and all meet and greets are open to everyone. Always have been and always will be. This is a scion community and being part of the group isn't a requirement by anyone.

Lately it seems that what ever anyone writes is taken the wrong way and or rubs somebody wrong. To be honest, it simply is not safe to post any more without the possiblity of at attack on what was posted. I appoligize to everyone, expecially you Nick if you took the post wrong. I was simply stating that I had been told that this info was going to brough to the group at this meeting and I thought it important to let anyone that is SE or is interested in what could be happening next year know about it.

You and I both know that there has NEVER been any club requirement at any scion event.

This is silly...

If I was a scion owner and thought about coming out to a M&G and started reading these posts lately, I sure in the heck wouldn't come. We sound like a bunch of kids.

And with that... I'm out

no no no that is not how i took your post at all. not one bit. i got what you were saying completly. andi have no problems with SE, jsut soemthing i dont really want to be apart of because at shows i'll be with xcessive speedz and i wouldnt be able to show with SE so there is no reason to be in SE.

i just felt like it was time to vent how i felt. everysingle person gets along in the pnw pretty darn well. there was just something i needed to say so i said it. i didnt mean to attack anyone, that was not the point of my post. the point was that no one can agree on anything. we can agree that things need a change, but no one can agree on waht they need to change too.

it just seem'd to me like the SE people were taking control of all the meets and everything of the sort. and i dont think it should be like that.

basicly i was just venting some over due frusteration. didnt mean any harm to anyone with it. just constructive criticism i guess.

I just want to hang out with some other Scion owners -- I don't care where we do it. I love to bowl and have wanted to go to Big Al's, so that's what I'd like to do. A bowling alley would be a good place to socialize, get to talk to others, too.

But whatever; name the place, and most likely I'll go.

i'll be there regardless of the place as well. i just know some of the other people who are more apt to do something and socialize would rather go somewhere where this is possible rather than a resturaunt and or "food" place. we have one at steak burger..maybe the other could be an activity..bowling is a good one because people can choose to participate and bowl..or just hang out and talk...two options.

Im up for big als, if i can get time to go. I missed it last time due to time.

I agree that i dont want to ____ around outside in this kind of weather, that would be just silly. I like the way the bucket decided on a place instead of us others just asking where we can go.

This is whats needed, a voice to tell us where to meet. Then go from there.

No big al's for the love of god, and this meet was suppose to meet up and talk about what events are going on this year, like i said if you want to go bowling theres glow blow at parklanes on friday and saturday nights, you can also win money from 7-11pm at park lanes as well if you honestly want to go bowling but the past 2 times i've driven up to vancouver and i really don't want to drive up there again
