orz ok, i have no problems with you guys coming to the sonic but you didn't seem very interested in coming, secondly i did say that we could meet up at big al's afterwards but i'm still debating if i'm going to go to big al's or not because i don't want to drive up there again, i was just trying to make a compermize (spelling) so we could all be happy and get along

OK, the m&g's were set up in the fashion that they were in to accommedate(?) everyone, twice a month, one in Vancouver for the west side and one in Beaverton for the east side, I don't care where they are, maybe a gtg sometime soon and sit down face to face with your ideas and decide on mutual locations, nothing is set in stone, these can be changed for the seasons, no one wants to be hanging in a parking lot in the winter, or indoors when its nice outside, so maybe you can come up with something for this winter then change it up come spring or summertime. Once you decide where you want to have them, send me a PM with the place, time, and address and I will post the info in the regional m&g thread.

Sorry, I have been at a training conference all week and it was difficult to post.
Seems like there is waaaay to much emotion in this discussion. I wanted to move the Beaverton M&G to sonic because we are sick of donuts and it seemed like a cool place for cars to hang out. I understand the weather concerns but that can be worked out (maybe we walk 100 feet to the A&W to sit inside if need be).
As far as SE or Non-SE I started these meet 'n greets almost two years ago because I joined SE and felt silly not having any other 'members' in the area. I wanted to find other Scion owners that wanted to have fun and express themselves as members of a club. Since then there has been a tremendous amount of water under the bridge with regards to the PNW community and SE (or other national clubs). It is amazing to me how much outside influences have affected our local group. I understand if someone doesn't want to participate by joining the club and I have never felt the need to be exclusive about anything I have done. All I ask is that people be kind and considerate when expressing their opinions directly or indirectly about my efforts.
In summation, please everyone come out to the M&G to enjoy the company of other enthusiastic Scion owners and if you want to meet the SE crew and see what we are all about that opportunity is available to. I will try to make sure that those that do not want to participate in club discussions have the opportunity to do so.
Oh, and I would entertain the idea of moving the meet to the east side if that would work out for more folks.
Peace,
