well, the transformation has begun for the little white Xb...

I got some chrome parts ordered today from sparks.. window trim, tail light garnish and side skirts.

Going to be looking for a new grill tomorrow and friday.


Now I just need to come up with a title for the box... "short bus" "micro van"... "**** wagon"...(kidding about that one)..

SO.. Kelly, if you are interested in some white parts.. I'll have a barely damaged front bumper and side skrits sitting around... let me know.

Doubt it'll be done by the 18th. I was going to push for it to be done before the 21st gresham thing, but well see.... The paint shop said 3 to 4 days to shoot, but could be done in 2 to 3 if I was in a hurry. I'm thinking "no don't hurry"... "take your time"...lol..

only thing holding me back right now is to get a new grill or not. I was really shooting for the tarmac grill, but there won't be any word on that until next week. AND that is just the word on where it's at, not that it'll be here in the US next week.

Anywho.... I doubt I make the 18th dognut meet... I really want to, but I'll probably be without a rig at that time...

Oh, I was reading about these PNW shirts... anyone have any idea who is taking the cash on this one?

The front seats are iffy at the moment.. I've been lurking around the Lexus site for the IS300 seats. I had a chance at them, but wasn't sure of the direction I was headed when they were offered... ya know the story.. there when you don't need em.. then when you are waving cash around, there no where to be found.

I will keep you posted if and when this comes about.. I imagine mid/late summer before I have the cash saved up for the interior work. I've already checked the "new style" **** carpet that's out now... sweeeeet..

I do know the grill is out for now.. I checked out the kenstyle grill .. ya 360.00 smacks for a frigg'n unpainted grill... not in this life time.. The tarmac grills are suppose to be back in circulation after next week... Not to sure on that one.
