The delay isn't from not trying - Police have been by the guy's house and so far haven't been able to find him. No sign of the driver, his father's truck, or his father. (22 year old driver used his father's F250 to do this damage.)
Very short version of a long story: F250 driver feels xB2 driver cut him off somewhere. F250 circles back after xB2 turns off and purposely rams the rear of the xB2 running probably 20-25MPH faster than the xB2 then takes off. xB2 follows F250 to dead end to get license plate info. xB2 across end of road, F250 rams xB2 in side, pushing it out of the way, runs again. xB2 makes it to lighted, peopled area to call police (cellphone is lost somewhere in wreck). Much more info on FB...

Don't know if it was a 4X4 or not Johnny, in any case, from the height of the bumper hits, if it wasn't a 4X4 it was probably lifted (both are common in that area).
Probably doesn't matter, anyway, that RS6 is totaled. Insurance will likely just buy it (and try to low-ball Michael with the amount). No matter what happens, this is costing Michael money.

I hope they throw the book at this jerk. He could've killed someone! Hope they make an example of this kind of behavior. Need to charge him with attempted murder. People now a days need to know that this kind of behavior will no longer be tolerated. I hope the owner is ok. My prayers go out to you. So sorry about your xB, esp since its my favorite color!

Using your vehicle to ram another vehicle while the victim is inside is considered assault with a deadly weapon. Also, since he was rammed multiple times, there could be a case for attempted murder. Reckless endangerment and a hit and run also applies. Hope they find him asap!

Better the vehicle than you.
One night when I was driving my girlfriend home, now my wife, a brand new Challenger flew past me going to opposite direction. Just a tad farther up the road a Honda on the side with flashers. She got side swiped by the Challenger as he turn the corner to fast and to wide. Sheriffs took a very long time to show up. I told them I knew where the Challenger lived. After we leave the accident I took the cop to the house. His response to the house was something like "Oh this house. Iv been here before" Never saw that Challenger again or any of the other people that lived there. It also went up for rent or sale shortly afterwords too.

I am seeing more and more road rage incidents all over the US.. seems to be concentrated in areas infested with meth..
I'm somewhat sure that the perp will be incarcerated in the near future but will law enforcement be able to "connect the dots"?
