Sakura-con!
I'll probably roll in around noon on Saturday. I will never drive in to Seattle on a Friday afternoon if I can avoid it.
Are they going to have decently priced dvds there like you can get on the net or prices like Sam Goody/Best Buy where it's $30 a pop? Ive never been to one of these things ever.

Walked in, saw the line for registration winding through the entire wall of the auditorium and I realized that, while I like anime, I don't like it enough to spend 2+ hours in that line.
Stopped at Dick's on the way back north though.

...um forgot the camera but had the camera phone! I sent a few people some pics but will do my best to get some pics up from me and my friend who took video too! And yes for the record if you did not pre-register, you stood in a very long line...how long you ask, well we got there...in line...@ 11, entered the shoping area around 1:30...Seriously cool though! tons of Bleach, Naruto, Tsubosa, and various others. And I would say conservatively there were 40% of the people were dressed up in various characters!
yeah, it was good time!! We got a lot of pics, so I'll be sure to get some on here soon.
Kanchi, you guys missed a pretty good meal at the restaurant we went to for dinner (instead of lunch), but that registration line definitely took its toll on all of us.
That long wait was worth all the nice gourds we saw I think.
...you know... sand gourds! Yeah, like the one Gaara from Naruto carries around? Yeah, we saw a LOT of Gaara's walking around.....with nice sand gourds.... yeah, that's it. I've got pictures!! (...I hope....)

I think it looks like it was so much fun and interesting but when I show pics to Mo his eyes just glaze over...he just doesn't get it.
Oh well...sorry I missed it. Mo & Kayla had fun bungee jumping instead. Isn't this going on tomorrow (Easter Sunday) as well?

I went back down there at like 8 just to check what things were like without the line :p
I bought a full pass so I'm going to head back down tomorrow to see what things are like when they're, you know, open.
Where is the shopping area? All I saw were artist booths, mini-theaters, and the occasional game room. Nothing being sold anywhere.
