I've had a rough week of work and am wanting to take a drive this weekend. but not just any drive. so i've come to you guys for some suggestions on routes to take. i've taken a look at the-winding-road.com but it seems like they don't post many maps at all. not trying to get lost in the wilderness. i know about chuckanut drive and the mountain loop highway up north. but i am wondering if anyone else knows any good scenic/winding drives. maps would be great if possible. thanks.

 

go up to Stevens pass and back! Other than that hit up Annie's Pizza Station in Concrete WA. There's a HWY 20 version and the "long way" version. I reccomend both but it sounds like the latter would be more in order, especially if you want to do some spirited driving.

 

hurricane ridge is suppose to be a great windy road, never driven it myself.

 

Hurricane Ridge is an exhausting drive.......it does get winding along it,and hills up and down.....

 

Around Mercer Island haha...I went for a short drive, and it ended up being a 20-30 minute one around the island.

 

very low speed limit too...plus the drive there has tons of cops.

St. Helens has some good roads, and also Mt. Rainier up highway 410
