Default scion ride and drives

Hey I don't know if any of you knew this or not. But today and Saturday Scion is doing thier drive expeirience again.

Where ?

Today the Red light untill 7:00 pm and Saturday in the U district from like 1-7

you can go and test a new drive xB and get little goodies of course. And it is not being put on by any dealership. So there is no sales pressure or anything like that. You just have Scion's Street team out there letting you expeirience the car with no commitment. So go and check it out and let everyone know how you liked it.

I think he means it's at the Red Light which is located at the corner of University Way ('The Ave') and 47th.

lol yeah Corey Anne I did mean the red light, only it is at the red light yesterday and today on Capitol hill on Broadway. It is a lot of fun you go and sign up to drive the new car and get to pick from a varity of items, and they have rock star to drink as well.

Saturday and Sunday they will be at the university Village between the hours of 11-7 and htey did not even end last night at 7 Pm they were still going strong. It was a lot of fun, and this time most of the people know what they are talking about. LOL I have been to a few of these in the past and they had no clue at all about the cars.

Go and check it out it is a lot of fun.

Thanks Corey Anne for the imput, I ahve been swamped here for the last few days, and have been going crazy. Sometimes insanity is a good thing. Just been burning the candle at both ends and sometimes need a kick to get going again

Oh no you didn't...you said the magic words....

UVillage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is my ultimate happiest place on earth. I could spend hours there and never get bored (much to my pocketbook and Mo's chagrin).

I'm going Sunday then. Anyone else interested in joining me???

I can honestly say that I do not think I have ever been there. But that is what the papper they sent me say they are going to be there. I will not be going again. Jen and I went last night just to check things out and quiz them a little to make sure they know what they are talking about. LOL but it has been recomended that dealership representatives no attend because it could interfier with the even and bring in the element of sales. So this is something that they do not actually tell us about untill it actually is happening.

But go and have fun it is a blast, the people are great, I want to steal some of their Scion flags and banners cause they are so cool. Then come on here and talk about it.

Have fun everyone,

Victor

Dang it, I went down to the University Village and couldn't find it!! We spent about 45 minutes exploring the area, and nothing. No signs or anything.

So we headed back up towards I-5, when what to my wandering eyes should appear, but sitting at the light at University Way and 45th, going the other way, was a new 2nd gen xB, gleaming white, with Cali plates!! That made up for it a little bit, but man I was looking forward to the event.

Just my 2-cents, but the new xB looks a lot better in person. It photographs horribly. Just the quick glance we got at the one on 45th made us like it a whole lot more.

Took it for a spin...sucks though they had a predetermined route...wanted to get it out on the freeway and scare the rep...wasn't happening...oh well got a gift card for the uw bookstore as well as a few other goodies

Ps.

If you can't find it its set up behind the bookstore in the parking lot. Just park in the parking lot and use the gift card they give you in the bookstore and get your parking validated! There's an xb parked on the street with scion reps yelling out how you can get a $15 gift card

CA I was looking for you. must have got stuck in that horrible i-5 traffic?

I love the pep the TC/camry engine give the new box. STILL not in love with the single reverse light though. It's bigger but felt smaller. looks like they added the extra dimensions to the trunk. something the 1st gen is lacking. overall I love it! I'm not trading in my rs4 for one though. If only I could afford to own two cars...
