I sent Ron a PM to let him know that we had 3 confirmed cars coming down. After googling the address I realized that I've been to an event at this dealership before. We did dealer day meets one year, got ahold of dealerships in the area and held meet and greets at the different dealerships. Lots of fun and you didn't meet at the same place every month.

 

I'm trying to get my brother in law to bring his RS1 tc and my other buddy with an xB2 to roll down. Hopefully they can.

 

Sweet, give a heads up if they decide to go and I will fire off a PM in the morning to let them know.

Just got back from the Scion Rodeo. Great event with cool people and a decent turnout. Props for Ron and Griffith crew for putting together this event. Lets get the word out a few weeks prior to next years event and have more participants. It's very rare for a Scion/Toyota dealer step up and hold events like this. I'll definitely attend next years and if I'm in a market for a new Toyota/Scion I'll be contacting these guys first.

Congrats to RobbieJ and TheRealEnthusiast (Dexter) for taking home 1st place in their respective classes. BTW, nice meeting you Rob and thanks to both you and Stephen for doing the internet legwork and putting together the attendance list.

 

Had a great time today. Props to Ron and the whole crew from Griffith Toyota for their generousity. Couldn't ask for a better event. Great group of people, good bbq, beautiful weather, and Scions, what more could you ask for. I can't wait for next years event. They are going to try to get the word out earlier next year and are looking to make it bigger and better. This was their third year of doing this event. Congrats to Dexter for bringing home the bacon, first place modified and peoples choice award. I got first place stock and alot of praises from the crew. Nice to finally meet Transporter and Dexter's buddy, sorry, I'm terrible with names until I get to know you, lol. Here are a few of the pics I took. They also had a commercial catagory, Base Graphics won that one. They had plaques for 2nd and 3rd in each group. Also, Portland area people who drove down got $25 gas cards.
