Anyone aware of any good custom painjob shops in the Portland, OR area? I've got some crazy ideas and am curious what such a thing would cost and where the best place would be to go to ensure good workmanship.

 

We had a guy here whos dad has a paint shop, Nick (honey0bucket) did a great job on his xB. Not sure of the name of the shop, hopefully Tim (miniguy) or Nick will see this and give you the name of the shop.

 

your best bet would be to hit up some of the hot-rod shops in town. The one we have here in Eugene keeps business cards on custom painters/pinstripers.

You could also hit up some of the collision repair shops and talk to some of the painters there. I would imagine at least one guy per shop does side work at less than what a shop rate would cost ya.

Also, Innovation Auto Body in Clackamas has done some amazing collision repair for my family, including paint. I'd assume they can do some nice custom work as well. Their quality of work is top notch.
