You had to wait that long!? Geesh, I thought I was going nutz. I ordered about 2 and a half weeks ago. Sure felt like months ago. Thanks for the tip about the plate, so do they just do that automatically... drill holes in your car

Yup, it's one of the things on their check-list from Scion HQ that they are required to do... In fact it's one of the highlighted items.

yeah it was that long.... lol... could have been shorter if i took a TCM.... but i wanted a BOP so... i waited....

Drills are required like Tomas said... but if you can convince them to hold off till you pick up and bring a bracket with you to mount it otherwise... you may get away with a hole free bumper.... some places you just ask.. some you may have to ask a lot more...

Default I'm one..sort of.

I'm a born again newb or something of that sort. I've had my box for a year now but haven't been much involved. Its because I'm a grad student strying to finish my masters this quarter, so I'm pretty much locked up most of the time reading and writing.

So a word of advice for ya, if your thinking of going to grad school...don't do it!

One of these days I'll have to come by an event.

cheers!

I'll call myself born again as well...I had the black box for over a year but I didn't start to get involved till I got the green one.

I came to the Lake City event and I'll be at more. It took a bit to clear up my calendar for the M&Gs.

Also...if anyone knows the person who stole my personalized plates out from under me (okay they didn't steal them...they just got them first) let me know. Doxon wouldn't order me the personalized plates at time of purchase so I filled out the paperwork and mailed it in 3 or so weeks ago. I went into the DOL today to ask what's up and they said someone with a Subaru got it listed to them on May 19th. The plate was going to be "SCIONNV". Oh well...if you see it let me know...I'll pay the person $500 to buy it out from under them...and why a Subaru???

Thats too bad and strange for a Subaru. I have an idea for my personal plates when I move to California, but I don't want to reveal it yet. Just cause I don't want it to be taken from me either. Cool idea.
