Default So just one day after my birthday i get the great news :(

so yesterday i got some shirts ( i collect joke type shirts) a backup camera for my XB. my sister got me decals for my rockband set and a case for the guitar and extra strap for it. she also got me floormats from costco in black. the all weather type ones. my itouch i bought after christmas was my christmas and birthday gift to myself.
so i get up and i go into work this morning and the owner/boss said she had to have a talk with me. this is a normal thing at work with day to day stuff. now she said it will have to be done later on in the day.

so around about 11:30 or so i walk past her office and say ok i have time to talk. what's up?? she tells me to close the door. first off she asks me if i remember the meeting she had around the last week of the year with the property management company. i said yeah i do. well she tells me that the contruction loan for the place that were are renting was supposed to be paid over 6 years. but she didn't read the contract she signed when we moved into the space we now rent and signed a piece of paper stating that she would pay 30,000 of the 120,000 for the construction by january 1st 2008. now that meeting on the first was them trying to collect the money from her so she tried to borrow the money from some relatives but they don't have it. well anyway since that time she has been figuring out how exactly to pay that back. well only way to do that is to cut costs. well exactly how to do that is completely hard. she either has to get rid of the stylists or get rid of the front desk personel. guess who won.

yeah i join the rank of the unemployment line. never even saw this comming at all. i have access to the books daily. heck i do a majority of the books and stuff.

so with my first payment approaching fast and insurance. i can collect unemployment for the time being. but this new car was my shot at building my credit. i can't F this up. i do not have a back up vehicle. so this is my only transportation and i do not want to give it up.

i had plans of getting rims and tires in the next week or so. 18 inch konig hotswaps nexxen tires. cancelled those orders when i got home. also was going to get a set of hids from moblehid. i hadn't placed the hid order yet so didn't have to cancel it.

yesterday was great. but today really really really sucks. i knew i should have stayed in bed.

The box will always be there, and the best of us ride around stock for a while.

There is another purpose in the career life you have chosen, now you just have to find it...

I did and went back to work today.. good luck and keep your scion chin high~!

so you lost your job due to your boss not reading a contract correctly? That sucks a lot dude. My dad lost his job with microsoft like 6 years ago, and he just didnt give up on finding a new one. He actually ended up at a Toyota/Scion dealership, which in the end worked out better for him. Dont give up man, im sure you will be able to find something you love.

well it just sucks. to happen after my birthday. i mean seriously bummed. also a bit scared about not being able to pay for my XB lets say if i don't find a good paying job within the next few months or so.

modding is the least of my worrys. i am fine with that part and i can wait. but the thought of losing what Xb scares the hell out of me. what makes it worse is that i have not even made one payment or even recieved my loan payment info yet. plates are in at dealership just got the message on that.

Sign is yours! Sorry to hear about losing your job, on the bright side the front page of the Everett Herald said that Sno county is boasting that there were 22K new jobs created this last year. Good luck, ps the sign didn't work, had to hike up my pant leg a bit to get any attention.

If you were doing data entry, book keeping and inventory management at your last job, see if the Scion dealer has an opening in that area, either in parts or service. You can try a temp agency or government contractor depending on the market where you live, BAE, Lockheed, Grumman, Mantech, Wyle Labs are all pretty big where I'm at and are nationwide.
