Not opposed to going with something a bit more aggressive in the fit department, though. Just haven't found anything that I've really liked.

Here's what the Yaris looks like now.

Are those motegi traklites?

Maxxim Assaults. (15x6.5, +40) on 195/55/15 Falken 912s.

Considering going with Konig Daylites (same specs, also orange) on Dunlop Dizzeras.

Is there a benefit or just new style? Like weight savings/ gaining width?

So here's the deal: I wanted to have the Maxxims redone in a brighter orange, so I'd powder-coat them. However, after having the tires dismounted, the wheels powdercoated, and new tires installed, mounted, and balanced, it's be cheaper to buy all-new Konig Daylites (in orange) with the new tires. Financially, it makes more sense.

However, I'm not 100% sure I want to go with the Daylites. However, there aren't many options when it comes to factory-finished orange alloys! I may be open to other wheels that aren't orange (including used wheels), but I haven't found any that tickle my fancy.

What I'd love is a set of some sweet four-spoke 15s, but four-spokes (other than Rota Auto-Xs) are hard to find.

Hmm ... I hadn't really thought about orange Attacks, frankly. Hmm ... 15x6.5 +35 might be nice. I'll definitely think about that! What'd be better is if I could get the +40 up front and the +35 out back.

However, I'd really like wheels that are powdercoated vs. painted. The orange wheels I have are painted and they've faded. I'm under the impression that a powdercoated finish won't fade as much as paint. The Konig Daylites are powdercoated.

Hi,

Did the Vibe wiper stalk swap today for my 05 xB.... Nice having the extra intermittent speeds to choose from.

Hope to install the new header this weekend....trying to increase my gas mileage average to 35 city....

New horns go in soon too...nothing wild but something more manly than stock....

Gotta replace the oem headlight too, musta followed a truck leaking pebbles...both my originals have cracks across them...

Then gotta do my rear brakes... Starting to hear some noises...

Getting back at it with my project... Got coilover install to do, which is not like the ol' scion way.... cut/weld/paint... Here's her right now. I'll also so a brake upgrade. This summer I hope to do upgraded turbo, injectors, ECU... That should give me 325whp or so and I'll be set for a while.

and Before winter

I don't think I'll be able to make anything until summer. I took the wheels off and had a frozen right caliper, so I'm going to just upgrade to 4 piston Toyota calipers and new front rotors.

Next we have to take off pretty much all four hubs to cut off the stock tubes and get ready to have a welder dude come in and weld on the new machined coil over tubes, as welding suspension parts terrifies me. After that, I have to cut out the top hat area and have him weld in new camber plates.

I also need a new turbo, as my stock turbo is pretty much dead, leaking oil, which I'm not surprised at...

Add rear lower control arms to tone down camber in the back and we have at least a functional car to make some events.

As we all know, it's just money and time... Two things which are harder to come by then the ol' days.

I tore the suspension apart today... for the old rides, you have to cut the whole strut tube off of them to weld on the c/o adapter tube, so they are all cut up and ready to be welded up. I have to cut the top plates out to weld new camber plates in, so that is the next big deal.

The Turbo, calipers, rotors, and turbo lines should be here next week, so I may get her on the road before summer!
