hey lakay? you wouldnt happen to have any extra sets of wheels i could borrow when i come up for the shows do you? i dont know if ill be getting my TSWs or not in time.

as for my project.

ive got mostly everything sanded. i have 6 pieces left: my two upper dome light bezels and all 4 oh ____ handles. hopefully i can clean them good enough this time so the paint doesnt lift. ive got some good stuff though. SEM bumper striper to remove the enamel paint, then some SEM plastic prep cleaner. i hope this does the trick. but im pushing to get everything primered on monday. and blocked out by thursday. then monday after next i can start painting this ish.

 

Progress report - we have the old motor out and the new one is in. This weekend we will begin plugging things back in and hopefully in the next couple weeks we'll have a running car

 

Anyone had experience with SCISSOR DOORS company ?

 

well tomorrow i start throwing on primer. then sealing and painting. tomorrow i should actually have stuff painted unless the instructor wants to wait till all my primered parts and blocked out and ready to go. the sealer only takes 30 minutes to dry. (im sealing the already smooth interior parts, the primered parts are the panels that had alot of sanding)

alright got some more photos here. im ready to spray some primer in the prep area keep in mind these are only the parts that need primer)










heres my little mod on my center dome light:





the machine work on the mirror control pannel. 6 evenly spaced and milled 5/8" holes (ill have to cut the dash out a little bit to accommodate the switches)




and then after im all done blocking out the primer this is where the REAL magic happens. cant freakin wait.




and then here is the pile of pre wired and resistored RGB LEDs i was talking about. 39 down and 61 to go.

I think her financial situation has nothing to do with wanting something for her car. And honestly with school and living at your parents with no work you should probably be saving too...but we all want something. I'm the last to talk because I'm building a dope ___ turbo kit but its my life..and its hers..so please don't troll. And yes I'm being friendly here.

unless something major happens this is where/how it will sit for 2012 untill i get some inspiration to finish/change it up... and or $$ for insurance & gas
