Been so busy with other stuff I've barely had any time to play with the tC or come here to post/read/catch up with anyone. Seems like everyone is progressing nicely.

Here's a quick summary of what I've been up to in the long time since I've been back here.

The Celica:

New carb for the '79 Celica. Awaiting some free time to get it in and tuned up so that I can move the old gal.

The Mediocre Motoring Chump team:

I started a Mediocre Motoring ChumpCar team with some buddies and we're hoping to enter no fewer than 5 races this season all across the PNW. $350 1989 VW Golf 4dr...ACTIVATE!

ChumpCar Surgery pre-cage. The car is getting her cage done up as I type.

The ACTUAL race team:

Prepping in the Pacific Raceways pits for the Test 'n' Tune for the Argo for this upcoming season. I'm crewing for my buddy who drives the white car (on the right), Green/White car (on the left) is part of the same team with a different driver and crew.

My driver prepping for the first session.

Broken suspension bolt puts us into the wall and ends our day early.

Since my car was out, I helped crew for the Green/White car. One spin off track due to a stuck clutch pedal, mad dash to strip the rocks off the tires and get the car repaired, car finishes the day getting better and better each session.

So yea, this race season is going to be insane for me between crewing for the white car (once we fix it), racing in the Chump league, fixing up the Celica, and finishing/tracking the tC more...sheesh...I'm going to have no spare time at all this year.

Yaya, they are legit. Are they the ones from Tweaked-Ice? First few days it looks sorta weird but when you get used to them you dont even need to check blind spots anymore, I still do anyways

After installing the zero 1000 power chamber intake, kept throwing a po171 code(running lean). Spent a few hours this weekend trying to fix that. Made sure all clamps were tight, still cel came on, changed maf sensor, cel on. Eventually while changing pcv valve, found out there was a slight hole in the hose where it connected. Fixed that and no cel so far.

Other than trying to fix this issue, this intake is working awesome. MPG are up a little and so is power. Now, need to order new axel back, since the end of the pipe broke. oh well, ebay here I come, lol.

I have a barely used DC axle back, has a couple dings in it, but still in great shape. HMU if interested.

probably not going to be selling vinyls for a while, at least not until im totally satisfied with everything that comes out on the first try, and once I learn the quirks of the machine....like its constant desire to cut just a little further than it should some times, but that could be the speed....im going to take it down to the slowest speed and see if i get better results

Just installed a Craven Speed Lightweight Crank Pulley, courtesy of Jman007. Might be picking up a used Greddy Turbo kit next weekend but need a 05 MAF adaptor and might need a tapped oil pan too....
