Got the touring coupe a raceland cai, has a nice little growl now

Got the box a set of raceland coilovers, will be installed soon

Picking up the Hanh Super 20g turbo from the shop today for the Colt

Also, if anyone is interested there is a set of nice oem xb RS8 side skirts on eBay for 300, a killer deal and a rare opportunity!! I would get them but it's not in the budget ATM lol

Ordered a shift/e-brake boot kit from redline goods last night, my early bday present from Shirley. Will be charcoal w/orange stitching, like the seats.

Hahaha. AC/ShmaC. Window visors and roll them a crack down and you're good.

Getting' some parts for my bike tomorrow, dropped it and broke some stuff... Oh well, that's the life. Low speed maneuvers do *not* rock my socks. Practice, practice, practice.

They are having trouble with the belt now...seems the 08 compressor pulley is smaller than the 06 so we are seeing if Toyota has a belt in stock

Yeah, 460$ of parts, bah. 211$ for just one fairing, what a joke.

Of course they would. GL with that. I'm surprised that changed actually between the model years, that's ridiculous.

It still looks nice, just going to be a few scratches that weren't there originally.. poor tank and exhaust have a little rash

Yes Tyler I have wanted to do this for a while, but couldnt justify spending $200+ on the headlights brand new, just to rip them apart and possibly not get them back together or modded how I wanted, but I got thses off club xB for $60 shipped, so totally cool with rippin them open

Also... We can cover up the roadrash on your bike with some vinyl! (maybe not on the exhaust tho)

Headlights are something I was willing to spend $$$ on because it's so important, the '08 projectors were amazing while I had them.

:D I've got some ideas for the bike color scheme, should be epic if it pans out.

You'll get bored of the 250 in like.. a month, I rode a friends for a bit last summer and that was all I needed to convince myself not to invest in one long term. As long as you respect the power the machine has, and are as safe as you can possibly be before taking into account other drivers, etc.. that's all you can do, no matter what bike you're on, at least with a 600 I don't have to worry about not being able to power out of a situation, on the 250 I was seriously worried, and I'm a small dude.

Not to discount the value of a good learning bike, but I skipped owning a learner bike. Either way, I'm stoked to get it all buttoned up over the next few days.

yeah i was thinking about just getting a used one for pretty cheap to just learn on for a bit because i have a bad record at trying to drive my buddies dirt bike. idk if those are the same thing but i definitely know starting with a 600 would be a bad idea. i just want something i can grasp the basic ideals on how to use the bike and then i will definitely step up to a 600. i won't go any bigger than that because after that, having that much power is practically pointless
