I'm working on paying off my car this summer haha...

Just put some s=techs on last week... short shift with bushings boot and **** next week though. that's probably it til the end of summer... then I want something to make her sound pretty .

 

I just started suede on my door panel inserts.Got a blue close to my exterior color but ran out of adhesive so only got driver side done.I'm going to order the clazzio seat covers real soon.Install a few more LED's.Maybe a in dash DVD player towards the end of the year.Paint a few more odds and ends and get mt gauge and heater control led redone.My interior is the weakest part of my car so I need to do something with it.

 

Well I am happy with everything stereo wise in the tC except the Sub.......so it is gonna go.......the components are over powered for it........

finally found a set of fiberglass boxes from Bassforms.com that will work for Cindy's needs of having her trunk space still.......and wil lbe runnign a set of 11kv.2 from ED at 1Ohm.......that way I can get all 600w out of the amp for the subs......

Now just have to save another $700 to make it all happen.......LOL....it never seems to end.......good part is the SQ10 can go inthe Yaris and it should sound good in there since the car is smaller.......and only gettign afront stage.

The tC should look something like this except painted body color ont he boxes...

 

Brian if you haven't bought the 11kv2's yet, I got a pair of 10s you can tryout. I'll sell them for CHEAP.

 

I hvae not bought them yet....let me know......also what are the watts.....I can get 600w @1Ohm so I need 2 D4 10s.......

 

I have 2 Image Dynamics ID10v3 D2 (very similar to 11kv and ID used to be the oem manufacturer for ED). They can handle 50-350watts rms. if you run your amp at 2ohm it will give out 450watts and will be perfect with these subs. you can try it out and if you don't like them, you can give them back.

 

Hey that might work........do they push pretty good at 450w a pair....I need it to keep up sound wise withthe comps........right now I have the SQ turned up so high it is maxed jsut to get bass above the components....

 

I can put them in a dual enclosure and bring them to the next meet so you can audition them.

 

sounds good cause I am hating the SQ10......it just cannot handle enough power and the amp is got lots to give.......do you know how to wire them to the amp at 2Ohm......I only have one wirepair off the sub......would need another one for the second speaker......can you pre wire them to 2Ohms.

well, hopefully this next weekend i will be wraping the headers, painting some parts,possibly installing a new front bumper, and cleaning the car.

oh yeah and if the shipping gods are nice maybe installing a new exhaust.

 

Having technical difficulties that are gonna cost me big $$ at the moment as well...

 

I have several new things going on for my tC. I had a JVT Racing header installed today, I have new wheels being installed tomorrow. They are the XXR 006 Blue/Black wheels and I have a Weapon R Secret Weapon Intake that is on order. I am also looking at carbon fiber hoods. If anyone has any suggestions on hoods, please let me know.

 

Some body has been busy.........for a great hood the Kaminari is a fabulous hood........and the price on it has been dropped almost $300.

 

I did a couple little things last weekend just need to charge the camera to take the pic's.
