Default Tacky Holiday Sweater Party--On Rollerskates 12/2

Raise your hand if you own a cheesy holiday sweater...or just a tacky sweater in general. Great...now raise your hand if you have ever had a love for rollerskating.
Well, for those of you who are into either...Scion of Puyallup (Sean) (me) will be hosting a get together for all you owners. Food, people, skating, nog, prizes for tackiest sweaters, prizes for skating challenges, prizes for being a human. It's gonna be freakin sweet.

December 2nd from 5-7pm

More details to follow.

Post a reply and tell me your excitement levels. I'm at a 10.5

Looks like its going to be a busy Dec. 2nd w/show, possible xmas party and rollerskating, wow, lol. Will play it by ear, haven't been on rollerskates since most of you were in diapers or a gleam in mom and dads eye, lol.

Ok, so it looks like the 2nd is going to be tough for everyone? I'm debating whether or not I should go for it and invite some new Scion owners, or bag it. Anyone else have more input?

Well, the show is over by 3pm, so its still do-able for thoughs who want to go skating in tacky sweaters, I'd say, see what everyone else thinks, just too busy down here for me to make the drive up.

I'll be there with tacky sweater and all.

This sounds like a hoot and I'm sure we can get some people wanting to come over from the show...

What a great idea! It's a tad far away from me though. I would love to roller skate and my boys would really dig doing it too!

However, if anybody is in need of a tacky sweater, remember, Goodwill and Value Village are full of them.

Well it sounds like everyone is super busy on that weekend. I'll cancel it then. If we can't have the TA folks, then it won't be the kind of party I would want. No hard feelings, ya'll are movers and shakers...I'll set a date for sometime after the new year.

Default TA party

If y'all can't be at the party, then I don't want to have it . I guess that sounded wierd the first time I wrote it. A strategic emoticon would have made things more clear.

This has happened a couple times in the past with some of the newer posters on this site. I'm sure it's an honest mistake so no worries but let me explain...

We're not all TA members here. So to have people only invite them or to only thank them or to only request pictures of just TA cars is leaving a lot of people out.

You should be sad that WE ALL can't make it, not just TA, lol. If the party is intended for just TA members, it probably should just be posted on the TA board.

I'm sorry to hear about your party though. Can't you just change the day? It's a great idea that tacky sweater thing!

Sorry Jenna, its my mistake. Sometimes it's difficult to differeciate between who is and isn't with TA. I don't mean to alienate any body. I guess I just assume that if there is a show of some sort, then most of the people that post here are affiliated with the show, or part of one team or the other.

It is my plan to continue doing events that will have mass appeal to all the Scion owners. I guess the TAers are just more boisterous.

Thanks for the check and balance though, I appreciate the clarification.
