I'd love it on a Saturday or Sunday, during the week, traffic is just too rough usually for me to get down there.

actually.. just a thought.... since we're entering "that" time of year again... where weather is cold and crappy... maybe a weekend morning/afternoon would be good... couldn't hurt as a trial... and since it sounds like our old location is under construction.

just a thought

Well, a Saturday meet at Griots would pretty much have to be early afternoon, since they close up shop and clear the lot at 4PM.

As a "Winter Schedule" that really might not be too bad an idea. We'd have to see how that would work with people's Real Life™ schedules.

Any quick opinions on that? Something like 2PM on Second Saturdays? Griot's Garage, 3333 South 38th Street, Tacoma, WA 98409.

I like that idea. I'd be able to make most of them, no matter what time they were.

we are doing a cars and coffee thing every first saturday of the month. Free doughnuts and coffee, we'd love to have you to that or we can do your own day! Let me know what you want and I'll set it up

Melding into an existing car fling (cars and coffee) might be really nice for us, but my major worry right now is the meet THIS WEEK. I don't want to skip a meet. Any time that happens it takes months to recover attendance.

(Although 7AM does seem a bit extreme. )

Regular place, regular time this Friday. If there is a problem meeting at that exact part of the parking lot, try to get close.

For next month we can work something out if we start early.

Sorry, regular time is 8PM, regular place is "Tacoma Place" strip mall at 72nd and Hosmer.

That is one block EAST of I-5, on the north side of 72nd.

There are a bunch of restaurants there (Shari's, Dairy Queen, Applebee's, Famous Dave's, Olive Garden, Popeye's, Mongolian Grill, etc.).

The entry to the strip mall has a Starbuck's right at the entry.

We have normally met at the far north end of the parking lot, but the far north end MAY be blocked off due to construction. If so, we will try to met as far north in the lot as we can get.

Here's the view of the turn into Tacoma Place, heading east from I-5 on 72nd St.

Hope that helps!

unfortunately weekends are more inconvienient for me and this is a m&g I am always at so its set on my calendar. With my kids and their bazillion activities I wouldn't be able to stop my day to come to a m&g and that would make me sad if we moved it to a Saturday could we make it more in the evening time?
