going to a local bar....should be a blast!

 

Would love to watch it.. but staying here since my 13 yr old is turning 14 and has a bunch of friends over... cant really talk myself into getting the ppv for just my wife and I to sit and watch.

Should be a great fight. I like both fighters. I think Hardy has a real chance, but have a feeling GSP will take it if he can keep from getting caught by one of hardy's monster hits.

Would kind of like to see Hardy take it though.

 

Yeah Hardy seems really confident and has a solid stand up game. Hope it stands up to the hype! Also Frank Mir vs Shane Carwin should be an interesting fight.

 

Oh yeah.. Mir Carwin will be amazing as well. Carwin has 11 knockout wins that total less than 12 minutes! It will be interesting to see what happens though if it lasts 2-3 rounds. Mir is a beast as well, and it would be cool to see him fight Brock for a 3rd time for the belt!

Nate Diaz murdered Rory in the prelims, best striking I have seen from Nate I think.

And the leg lock in the last fight of the prelims was just NASTY.

Guess I will just have to see the results after the main events though!

Yeah, I have always been impressed with his ground game, but he really stepped up the striking game. I think fighting a bit heavier may be a good next step for him.

 

yeah he has more power in his strikes in that weight class.

Looks like Carwin kept his run in tact!

 

WOW.. just saw a clip of the Carwin/Mir fight.. once he got that first clean left in and Mir's knees buckled, it was a done deal. He absolutely pummeled him after that! Interesting how similar part of it was to when Brock had him down against the fence. Going to be a good fight with him and Lesner. Nothing like seeing two heavy strikers go at it.
