I'm so lazy that instead of pushing the go-cart to shelter, I put an umbrella on it, lol.


This is my children's bus in my drive way. It's still there right now. My children just called to say they were going to be late (they should be on this bus, on their way home), lol. I think I might go out and see if the bus driver wants help chaining up.

I haven't had Boston Market since I moved away from the hell hole people refer to as Everett.

lol Kirkland is about 30 mins away southish of Everett.

Mmmm boston market is so yummy. i had it in October in California since thats the closest one now that all the ones up here closed. :-(

 

In colorado, we've ended up with every storm you guys have had lately, so i share your pain...we're looking for at least a foot of snow in metro areas on friday...grrrr!

I know that the present thinking is that el nino (warm sea surface temps in the south pacific) is kicking up the moisture, and fueling the storms, but Ialmost wonder if there's something to the 'global warming' idea...

id you guys know that NOAA yesterday released a paper stating, amongst other things, that global warming is real? A government 'scientific' body stating something that they have denied for a long time? i thought that would be when hell freezes over...

 

I'm not going to work tomorrow! Yay snow. Maybe not on Friday either, there is now way I am driving 35 miles in this crap.

 

I wish I didn't have to go to work. I head out at 1am, just to supposedly drive another 70-80 miles. Me thinks I'll skip a lot of my route. I mean, studs will get me around a lot but I'm not pushing it, especially in iced slush.

Wow we actually got some snow this afternoon in Clackamas Co! We NEVER get snow here... Eager to see what it looks like in the morning hehe! Sittin about 35 degrees right now.

Man... hope it's not too bad... wanted to get my windows tinted tomorrow...

Heh. What amazes me, Doug, is how many people have commented on this avatar. I did try to make it look like me, but so have a lot of other folks with theirs. I guess I don't see what's different about mine. Weird.

Right now I'm watching the outside temperature plummet - it has dropped just over four degrees in the last half hour, and that can't be good.

I suspect that I may have a bit of trouble getting down my driveway in the morning. (1/3 mile, very steep switchback...)
