Well, good news Kekai, the snow totals have been reduced (not that it mean much around here... they're never right).

Are you commuting out of PO, Brian? If so, holy crap, man. =P

Everyone, again, be careful out there! Just came back from walking out to my mailbox and I slipped and was nearly forced against my will to make out with my tC.

I have a couple of friends who went out and got their copies...and it is snowing here. One was having trouble making it back home on the ice & snow when his tire went out around 2 am. Needless to say he left his car on the side of the road & got a ride so he could get home to enjoy Burning Crusades...hehe!!!

So the Lakeland Hills area still has ice on the roads within the neighborhoods (off the main arteries) and now we have another 2 inches of snow sitting on top of that and its still coming down...

Anyone else having more weather fun???

I left my house around 7 this morning. I had to come into the office because I am off the rest of the week. (Going to Whistler). So it took me about 30 minutes to get from Auburn to Federal Way this morning. I live pretty much right between Hwy 18 and 15th St. 18 wasn't too bad. Just really slushy. The side roads were still really bad though.

It's raining up here in Federal Way now. Hopefully it'll melt some of this new snow...and take some of the ice with it.

We got an inch at our house and my husband says the areas more inland (we're right near the Sound) got about 2 inches.

School is 2 hours late.

eh.. i bagged work today... still have idiots who dont know how to drive up/down small hills with ice...
who ever taught them that they need to come to a complete stop at the bottom of a hill before going up it should be shot.

anyways... the new snow pretty much covered up all the spots that we or the puppy smashed down... just a few little dips here and there other wise looks almost 100% level across our deck/yard etc..

So without a doubt it’s been hard to believe the weather forecasters this year. First this last summer: "Should be a mild summer and have tons of hurricanes." False! Dry and Hot with no hurricanes. This fall: "Should be a mild fall with average rain." Broke rain records and actually had snow. This winter: "Should be a mild winter with rain." Thus far this winter has not been that. They all lie, even Steve Pool. I think he is a robot. He still looks the same as he did 15 years ago.

My husband always likes to mention, when talking about Steve Pool, how "gangsta" he is when doing the weather on Kube 93 (back when we listened to terrestrial radio). Yeah, Steve Pool, gangsta-ing it up.. makes me puke a little.

continued snowing down here, roads in Portland look terrible, trucks and cars stuck on the freeway onramps or parked against the median barriers and Beaverton school didn't cancel school until their buses got stuck trying to pick up kids, d'oh, getting alot of crap from the news crews.

well it just started snowing again here at the dealership and it is really coming down. We got like two inches more last nigh and I was making people crazy this morning by throwing the truck into controlled drifts. It was a lot of fun on the way in today. of course I have no idea why I am even here no one will be coming into a car dealership today. heck even our service department is shut down
