Default what ibnboxxin's been up to these days

well started off rather well. was looking for a job going on interviews and such. so i get offered a job at an airline. kind of nice place to work since i love flying. so i did a total of 8 interviews and one in southern Cali. (see note below)

so anyway i get ready to sign the final paperwork and then off to training. while i am at seatac for like the 40th time. the person who is meeting me says they have bad news. the company has just froze hiring and i will not be getting a job. but i am in a pool of candidates ready to be hired. so i thanked them and walked out.

so from that point on apply for different jobs and such going on interviews. only to hear a few different things. one being we are sorry but due to the economy we are not hiring at the present time or we switched the job to a part time basis or you are over qualified for this position. if i am offered a job where one of those excuses are not used. it is part time anywhere from 20 hours a week to 30 hours a week at 10 dollars or less per hour. the ones that are higher then that use the excuse we found a better candidate for the position.

ok everything other then finding a job.

so most of you know a while ago i almost lost the XB due to falling behind on payments. when i got the loan for the XB. i could miss two weeks worth of work and not even have to worry about not being able to make my payment. i didnt buy above my means. just couldn't see the loss of a job due to a serious drop in business. anyway i have probably messed up my credit at this point. but still have the XB. still stock. but cant drive it as with living on a shoe lace thread budget. i got a ticket i though i took care of and lost my license. lol

so the is about 5 months worth of my life. it is also has a lot to with why i have been on the board much. it really sucks not being able to find a job. also seeing people get mod for cars kind of makes it worse. i had being plans for my XB. they are gone or pretty much someone else has done it. so i stopped even planning what mods i want or think are cool. maybe when i get a job i will get back into it. as for now she is going to stay stock as i have no money to do anything with her.

*note*
ok so this was a strange interview. the said report to seatac check in at ticket counter. so i did. thy handed me a ticket to Oakland. i told the lady but i have an interview with the airline i never bought the ticket. the supervisor came over and asked what was the trouble. i explained it again. he laughs and says the company is flying you down to Oakland to do the interview. so off to the gate i went. at the gate i check in and wait. so after boarding the plane. i realize i am in first class seating. totally sweet. anyway interview went great i flew back at like 9 pm at night called a few friends while i was in the area. lol

i know the feeling about the job freeze thing, i have had 3-4 interviews lined up a week that fall through due to the "hiring freeze" also noticing the same thig with the part time, and the crap pay....luckily unemployment is paying good...albeit only for 6 months....but hope to have a decent job by then

thanks guys. yeah i am still looking as drepessing as it is. i am still looking.

i really wanted that job though. it was ramp agent position. means i load and unload the planes. travel benefits are sweet. also pay was pretty cool.
