Default wheel refinishing

Does anyone know of anyone local that fixes rims, ie, clearcoat peeling, chrome lip discoloring, rechroming plastic center caps? I can get the center caps replaced for $15 each, but don't want to buy new rims to fix the clearcoat problem. This is something that I would like to do before heading off to Nevada, wife says i should just buy new rims, but I'd hate to spend the money if i don't have to. Enkei only offers a 1 year replacement on cosmetic stuff and its been longer than that. Spend big money on rims and have them go to junk on you in a couple of years, and I'm going to hate to go down there with ugly rims, getting scratch in rear door repainted next week, need to get pretty rims, lol.

Robbie, you might want to call an Enkei rep and tell them what you are doing and they might swap them for you. Just say you would hate to have your car in a commercial and have their rims look like crap.

Doug, I went to the Schwab store where I got them and talked to the guy who sold them to me, told him what was going on and he called Enkei to see what they could do, said warrantee was up. I may call them myself.
Matt, I just emailed a guy that is in Vancouver, but works for the same company, so he may forward me to your guy. Saw his name, but thought, no one uses juno anymore, must be an old email, lol.

Rob,

There's a guy that does great work in Beaverton, OR. It's Skips Wheel Works. http://www.skipswheelworks.com/

Another good place in Vancouver Wheelkradft NW. I believe they're mobile, too. http://www.wheelkraftnw.com/

Glen, Trev could use my rims to practice on if he needs! I have another set so there would be no hurry. Let me know if he is interested. BTW they are the black wheels with the polished lip.
