Default Where do I go in Newberg/Beaverton area for mods to my xb?

Hi, new 2009 xb owner, have been reading lots of threads, but I can't find where to go to have someone do mods to my xb, like springs, hitch & hitch wiring. Don't have the aptitude to do these things myself. What shops are around Newberg/McMinnville/Sherwood/Beaverton/Hillsboro/Tigard/Wilsonville?

If you're willing to drive to Portland you can go to VIP Performance, they'll take good care of you. However, out on the westside there is Race Dezign, Speed Concept, or Russ Beaverton Accessory Shop. Haven't heard much about the latter 3's work as of late but those shops are some options you can look into.

there are actually a few around Beaverton Hillsboro that i know of... depends on how much you want to spend and how crazy you want to change your ride, I would suggest going to speed Concept for parts which is in Hillsboro (www.speedconcept.com) the cool thing is, if u find a cheaper place, they'll match or beat it for u.

as for installing, come to one of our meets (www.meetup.com/pnwscion/calendar) and we have meets where we can help you install it and the best part is, its free =D... come check us out!!

Cool! Thanks! I decided after driving a Hyndai Accent for 11 years, purple no less, I deserved a new car and after much research got the xb. I love it so much, I don't know why everybody doesn't drive one. But I feel like I'm cheating cause I'm an old lady!!

I've been reading about the nf210 (is that right?) springs, lower it just a little and gives a better ride and better handling, I think I want to do that. And then I want to get a tiny utility trailer to go to the garden center 8 miles away - all back roads. I know Toyota says not to tow anything, but I've been reading people are doing OK towing less than 1000 lbs.

Thanks for your help.

I can recomend the group of guys down there for doing installs of most anything, springs are an easy thing to do,and shops will charge pretty good for it,I know the guys down there will do it for pizza and beer and something to do on a rainy Saturday.....lol.

Welcome to the Scion comunity......we are not all as weird as we seem.....well I am but that is a whole differant story.....

If you decide to take it to a dealership, for fear you will lose the factory warranty... Take it to Beaverton Toyota/Scion. Ask for Ricky Fernandez, tell him Doug sent you. Order the OEM TRD Springs from Sparks Toyota and have them install it.

"The Shop aka Beaverton Turbo Liners" in Beaverton on Canyon Road is another great alternative. Reputable business with certified technicians. See Fred Roman.
