hello folks, my name is matt goodwin, i moved to astoria oregon in may from louisiana and kinda been to myself this whole time, ive been to scion exposed 2 and i was one of the guys that had the s/c and the trophys on the side of the car, not to many good looks when i put out the trophys but it was something they did in the south and i guess not to much up here. anyways from astoria its about an hour to get to beaverton goin over the pass and in the winter i dont even try. and from tacoma its 3 hours and so thats y i havnt been to any m&g. a little back history i lived in oregon almost my whole life until i went to dive school in seattle at DIT and then moved to louisiana to work offshore but thats where i got into the car scene. i had an 05 tc that i "pimped" out with the help of the car club scikotics, i was hooked from there on. well anyways i had lambo doors and h,i,e blah blah on the car then one day someone decided to steal it, strip it, then have a bbq with it. so i was out of a car but still hooked on the scikotics so i went and got another tc, this time an 08 with a s/c. and then after a while i had it all "pimped" out again but with a little more hp and a lot more problems, ive went threw 2 s/c, first one was under warrenty and the second on was out of my pockect, 1 short block that was barely under warrenty (3 week stand off before they even touch the car ) and second oil retuen line. well i got really home sick and decided to move back and so ive been sitting here on the computer and just been watching everybody type lol. havnt been able to hang out with scion owners and having fun really starts to suck after a while. but anyway ill be moving up to tacoma here shortly for the sprinkler fitting jobs and will be going to seattle m&g friday. i hope to get more involved in car shows and lots of m&gs. well thats who goodguy889 is and i hope to see u guys around. o and sorry for the spelling i wasnt an A student

Matt, hope to see you around, I don't get out the the m&g's very often due to work and such, but maybe we can set something up for a trip in your direction, could be fun, thinking the column again.

yeah the column is cool but its shut down due to finding cracks in the stair case. i was at scion exposed in 08 so yeah the recent one. whats up dibbz yeah i remember that was the very first car show since i was back.
Thanks for the story. Its always nice to know about the fellow scion peeps. I look forward to meeting you matt. I will be at the Seattle M&G as well. I will be rocking my new babyblue scion hat that almost matches my azure pearl tC. You will enjoy meeting everybody there are some great people up this way.
