Default Who's ready to turbo their car?!

Well I think I've finally found the turbo that we are going to carry. I originally planned on the Greddy for the tc, but now it's going to be the dezod. Reasons:

-The kit can be installed in about 6 or 7 hours (drop in injectors, plug and play ecu harness)

-No check engine light with the catted downpipe

-Good Hp gains with minimal boost, therefore not affecting reliability

-No major issues with the kit

-No permanent modifications to the car

-Reasonable Price

Anyone interested? And by the way I'm still looking for a good kit for the xb, so anyone who knows a good one can you please contact me...

Well actually I'm not sure yet I haven't talked to parts and it's basically up to them so as soon as we can get together and discuss that I'll let everyone know. But basically we're going to figure out what labor is going to cost first by doing my car since I'm already in the process of getting one. It's probably going to be around $4500 for the kit, maybe less, maybe more. But I need to get someone else on board too so we can make this happen. I'm going to try and work out something special price wise for the first person too so...

Haha I'm working on it. That's one reason I was looking at maybe the Blitz turbo for the xb, since it can also be used on the xa. But you have to remember that turbo-ing an xa is not at the top of the list for most xa owners :-)

Ya I like ZPI and I would have gone with their tc kit if they didn't have the cel and the need to cut the crash bar...

No CEL here on the ZPI kit, ever.... and depends on your intercooler options on the crash bar... The water to air intercooler is amazing on the ZPI as well...

They are equally matched setups in the end really... but the xB and xA options for T/C are ZPI (I guess soon) and GReddy (xB) currently.

dustin, for a real grip car you dont need a turbo just LOTS of engine mods and it will be faster around the track with less power...btw let me know sometime in the spring when we get our cars done we gotta drag and time attack..

okay to the turbo kit, what is the .ar of the turbo and trim? what kind of boost? dyno chart? when will it spool? those are all questions im seriously wondering. also even if you are running less boost, same or more power the air volume is still going to be the same, just less boost will somewhat keep the head from flying off the motor. also got pics?

If you're going to put F/I in your car that isn't a TRD Supercharger, then the last thing you're worried about is the warranty.

As for the original question: ME! I'm ready! I'm ready for someone to drop a bazillion dollars in my lap to turbo my car. hahah
