Hopefully this week I'll be ordering the first Dezod kit, so if anyone is interested on how a turbo'd tc performs, I'll be here at the dealership during the show, Sunday, January 21st. As for the xb/xa, I'm still looking for a quality kit, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Magnetic just means that if you're doing forced induction, you obviously aren't too worried about your warranty, and are more worried about making hp and getting performance out of your car.

The people that supercharge their tc through the dealership still get their warrenty. Why would people pay extra to turbo their xb through the dealership if it is still going to void the warrenty when they could go to a local shop and have it done for half the price?

There is no shop in this area that carries Scion specific parts. Do the shops in your neightborhood carry f/i and parts of the like that you can buy the minute you walk in the shop for your car? If so, you're lucky. Also, we are not going to charge any extra than other place to purchase the kit from us, and we're not going to make you install it at the dealer, so you could do it yourself (hence the dezod very diy kit) or we can do it for you. The point of this is to be able to get the kit at a reputable place, for a decent price, and being able to see it and buy it when you want it.

The cool thing also is that many aftermarket parts companies that are making parts for the scions, are slowly adopting the one price thing for thier parts as well. They have seen a large number of dealerships want to carry the aftermarket products, and are making it possible for them to offer the same products at the same competitive prices you would either see around town or sometimes on the internet. I think you will also start seeing many shops getting out of installs as well in the future with liabilities on the work increasing, so dealerships might be some of the few places left to get the work done for you.

I am not trying to say that your doing the wrong thing or doing something stupid. I am just saying that if a dealership is going to offer this they need to offer a warrenty with it. There is a company called Speed Factory that installed one of the first turbo's into an xb and so far I believe it was the fastest and lastest quite a while. If thats the type of turbo your looking for find him.

Trust me, I wish we could warranty the turbo. In fact I believe it's more reliable than the TRD blower at this point. However, it would be next to impossible to convince the service department to warranty a non trd aftermarket part that comes with no warranty from the manufacturer and is not supported by any other dealerships.

I feel the same way about the warranty and it will be the reason I will probably never have an f/i box until my warranty is long gone. Talk to me again in 100k miles

That is why I was worried about the warrenty. With out it you will find many owners hesitant to purchase the kit.

Yes it does. The 07 tC has a slighty diferent Header design and MAF (mass airflow) sensor, which means that some minor adjustments needed to be made to make a turbo fit. While the TRD kit isn't expected to be out until winter 07 (Which is completely ridiculous), Dezod has already come out with an 07 turbo kit.
