This is all the laws in California - you can skip down to the "tuner laws" where it means more to us ha ha

umm that law was written for the hydo's that can pop the car off the ground. people used to hit them on the freeway. it is scary to see the whole front of a car lift up off the ground at freewat speeds.
I'm not sure if the 6000k mobile HIDs are legal in Oregon. My bro says they aren't technically so I guess it's one of those things where cops will let it slide unless they feel the need to pull you over for something.

I totally agree (even tho I did have a lot of fun when I lived there for 6 months)
from what i hear, HID's in WA are illegal all together unless your car comes tht way from the factory, but that is just what i hear

Most traffic laws are at the discretion of the officer, unfortunately WASP doesn't believe in the "gray" area. I am originally from SoCal. I drove there 4 years before moving up to WA. NEVER had a problem with Police or CHP in fact my fiancee was on the Torrance PD and I worked as a volunteer at a police dept. Since moving to WA I have been pulled over more times in the past year than the 4 years in CA, and have seen and heard of more people pulled over for doing 5-10 miles over the speed limit on a HIGHWAY than I have every seen/heard in my life, it's rediculous how much this state is desperate for money.
In CA, cops would give you a ticket if you were doing something serious or being a jerk, but not if you were going a bit over. I think in a state where there is a bigger population and a lot more going on, the cops are out looking to catch bad guys, not being "glorified meter-maids" and ____ing off the public.
