I picked this up from scion evolution forum for the San Diego people who want to roll in a group to irwindale

 

another question:

does anyone know if the park is going to have all attractions open like a normal public day? Or is it going to be reduced down to a few popular select attractions? Anyone know what it was like last year?

 

They said they weren't last year and Scion payed Knott's a grip to have it anyways so we'll see.

Hehe, in other words I think it's a good bet that they'll have all the fright people out and about. I was hinting that Scion has a grip of funding in their corner so they'll make everyone happy.

 

oh ok, well i just wanted to know how it was last year... i dont wanna go if some of the attractions are going to be closed.

 

Last year was fun. I want to say all the rides were open except Xcelerator. I know they closed it for repairs because the line that shoots the cart snapped and hurt a couple of people. Should me open now. Also there were tons of cars. A lot of prizes. The games inside Knotts you could even win scion stuff. I know I won scion sweater, stuffed scion toy, and scion slippers. If this year for some reason they closed some ride (which I dont know) it will still be worth going out to this event.

yeah everyone is welcome. Im not even part of Scion Evolution. They were nice enough to get something going on so we can all caravan up to irwindale. I know there is already people planning on going to this meet up spot.

ok this is just startling to watch. especially since i went to knotts a month ago and waited for an hour to get the very front of xcelerator. that could have ended a lot worse than it did. but great info, thanks!

 

Knotts is always fun with Scion. Specially now that the park is open to Scion only
