Irwindale is pretty much the meet up spot that assures you a spot in getting into knotts berry farm. You are the first to go into the parking lot after you leave irwindale. If you don't go to that caravan you will have a less chance of getting into the park. When you get in through out the day you will see scions all day long trying to get it, but they cant because they came too late. Its just a easy way to get in and save the headache.

If you go to Irwindale make sure you go early. They will deny people access there too if you come late.

You dont have to go in the caravan to get in, i got there at like 3 last year and they still had plenty of tickets.

copied and pasted from the facebook link that's on the first post, hopefully this answers everyones questions about irwindale and the caravan.

The Caravan is NOT mandatory, but if you would like to make Scion history and be a part of a Guinness World Record™, come join us at the Toyota Speedway at Irwindale. Being part of the Caravan allows you to prepay your parking, get into the Knott’s parking lot before everyone else, and get a prime parking spot. Since you are one of the first of the 12,000 you have first shot at exchanging your toy for a ticket.

You can start gat...hering at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale as early as 9 AM. We will organize the Caravan, review details, and then leave promptly at NOON. Since this is a Guinness World Record™ attempt, we will be asking everyone to follow specific, detailed instructions. Don’t expect to show up at 11:59 AM and be part of the Caravan. There are several waivers to sign and maps to review. Give yourself some time.

The Caravan essentially guarantees you a ticket since you are getting to Knott’s first, but if you can’t make the Caravan, all is not lost. We are not giving out every single ticket at the Caravan. You can still get a ticket by showing up in a Scion at Knott’s beginning at 3 PM with your toy, while the tickets last.

If you are participating in the Caravan, please remember that tickets are one per person and will be distributed first come, first served once we arrive at the Knott’s parking lot. You cannot save tickets for your friends arriving later. You are only securing tickets for those people in your car who are participating in the entire Caravan from beginning to end as a driver or passenger.

^goodluck man as i'm sure this year would probably be more packed than any other year because of that guinness book of world record cruise attempt.

oh btw PARKING is going be $15 which will be paid at irwindale if you show up for the cruise if not then once you get to knotts you will be paying for the parking.

^ so you mean Irwindale will pay for the parking?
Parking is $15, regardless if you pay at the Caravan or at Knott's.

Are you cruising to fusion? If so lets roll together. I figure you live near Mira Mesa too since you started that meet. I live in the area as well.

Well, I guess what I'm really wondering is if Scion Night will be canceled if it's raining?

just go to the linked facebook page if you have questions. if you own a scion and drive it into the lot that day, then you have access to the park. simple as that

yes you will pay at irwindale for the parking since once everyone gets to knotts everyone will just park, for those who are not doing the caravan will be allowed to enter the knotts parking lot around 3pm and will pay for parking there.

exactly but you only have access to the haunted time of knotts which opens at 6, they say 6:30 but the gates usually open at 6 so try making line before 6 to be the first in line for the rides or mazes.

at irwindale they are suppose to stop letting cars into the caravan around 11:50 so your better off showing there from 9 til 11 to be on the safe side just incase they still have to do a full count of how many cars are going to be in the cruise since last year there was alot and everyone rolled out like 20-30 mins after the time they where suppose to start the cruise.
