From hot rods to hogs, there’s something for everyone at this popular annual event to benefit Capistrano Animal Rescue Effort (CARE). More than 1,000 people are expected to view some 400 classic cars and motorcycles and enjoy entertainment including celebrity guests, plus food, vendors, exhibits and prizes. A motorcycle “Poker Run” is newly added this year. CARE is a 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue group founded in 2000 to promote the humane treatment and well-being of homeless dogs and cats in San Juan Capistrano. Since its founding, CARE has rescued and adopted more than 1,100 pets.
