Or you can just get the CARB (California Air Regulatory Board) certification numbers and you're clear. Nothing on that car is illegal. And if I ever see a Scion own with their breather installed like that, someone's gonna get shot. All that does is filter the air leaving the valve cover.

 

Its hard to hide lowering n stuff. God damn I hope I don't have to move to cali.

This vid. makes me mad, when I got my car, I did not get it for street racing, I got it with the idea of modding it up for shows, but theres some people out there killing it for the rest of us . This is one of the reasons why I haven't gotten an exhaust.

yea there is vvt-i toyota, lexus vvt-il and then hondas v-tech all valve timeing parts. vvt-il is on celica gts as well.

oops, also aftermarket computer timeing advance systems.

hmm.. speaking of breather filters.. scions don't have them... so if i do see one in someone's car... they're just asking to be flamed... ours recirc back into the intake.. (i think i'm right... right?)

and that whole "blue hose is illegal" thing... omg... that guy can't be serious?!?
