Always nice to hear where different canyon roads are. Thanks!

Hey no prob.
I plan on running these roads soon - I have some Teins waiting to be put on, I would also like to throw on a Progress rear sway bar and see how much all that helps the handling.

The rear sway bar will help tremendously, you'll definitely feel a difference.
The 1st gen xB looks like it handles well.

Maybe I should try informing them that Glendora Mountain Rd. is open again.

sway bar is one of the best suspension mods you can do to a car, there is a huge difference and it does help like what kikaz-sc said

sway bar, shocks and springs, tires are huge too, especially in cornering

every car is different though, but tires are very very very important!

Alright! So I know someone is bored enough to check out the aftermath of my Rim of the World 100+ mile cruise with my mr2 club buddies!

So the Rim of the World is actually like a route that can be found on a map. I was like, wth... there is a road called rim of the world... I guess so.

Anyways, I think the route we took was up the 18, down the 38. It was a nice cruise, not too much high speed was going on due to high tourist traffic. But none the less, it was fun and enjoyable.

You'll find the scion in some pictures.

I'm hoping this will pump amdforever up enough to actually go forward with this so-called scion enthusiast cruise!

can you link us the pics b/c we have to log in to that site to view them on there

If we can get a group together and take a nice road thats not too fast and too scaryish for us newbies/first timers then I would be down for trying to setup a time to help get some peeps together.

Where is turnbull at? You should come cruising with me and sushifish when we go since your in the 909.
Turnbull Cyn connects Brea to Chino Hills. Its a decent ride, kinda short. But if you're bored, its local for you guys in north OC or east LA counties...

FYI, posting locations of nice roads is an invitation for the public especially cops to find out where people are likely to speed/race. It has happened in various car forums and gradually, more and more officers are being aware of the activities and where they happen. let's keep it to word of mouth in person to those that you trust. for all I know, this forum is public and anyone can read it.
