the shop goes from 30% to limo? nothing in between? that kind of worries me bc i have 35% on my front windows, and i figured the cops wouldnt bother me bc they can see right through. maybe you have like 20% or something

 

its 35% i wasnt sure if it was 30 or 35 and yeah its pretty dark.

i just got a tint, and a front plate ticket today on the freeway. wow.... i also need someone to sign off.

believe me it's sad how i could pulled over today. and the COP was a Asian LADY. I'VE NEVER SEEN AN ASIAN LADY AS A COP IN MY LIFE. IN THE CHP CAR.

 

Rear doesn't matter you can have any percent tint you want in the back or rear side windows in California. I think 20% is perfect...it's dark enough and cops can still see you, sort of. I plan on going with 17% all over besides the back which will be 5%. I guess the only way to avoid if you see a cop is roll down your windows as fast as you can. haha.

 

there's a reason their pulling you over for that. it's for their safety not just because they want to be dicks. imagine you being a cop, would you want to walk up to a car you cant see into? see how many people are in it, or if they have a gun pointed at you. there's been an number of police officers that were shot in the face as they walk up on a routine traffic stop. being an l.a county sheriff's deputy i know this first hand. when ever i approach a car that has tint, unless the windows are rolled down, i have my gun drawn. i don't want to get shot in the face. would you?
