Default Help on intake install on Scion xB (Orange County)

Hey guys,

I bought a Fujita SRI for my xB and attempted to install it. I got the VSS and take sucker just won't come out. Anyone know a shop or someone who can help me? I'll buy ya lunch and pay for the install. I'm in Costa Mesa.

What's the problem your having with the install? I could probably help you out. I just installed the same intake on my '06 about a month ago with no problems. It's pretty straight forward.

I do remember that it was difficult to get one of the hoses off of the VSS. I just left that one on, disconected the vss from the stock box, bolted it onto the new bracket (had to file out the hole in the bracket just a tad to get the mount screw in there), and bolted the bracket in place. The other thing that sucked was connecting the MAF's wire harness. I had to mess with the wire loom to get a little more slack to connect the harness. It just doesn't want to stretch to the mounting position on the intake.

I'm in Tustin if you want to stop by. Maybe I can mod your gauges too!

My problem is the actual screw for the VSV thats screwed down to the airbox, if it weren't for that I'd be good to go.
