Reserved? for June 2nd? and 3rd? This is getting a bit ridiculous.

Either we are gonna have a simple install meet for everyone or it's gonna suck cause everyone will be pushing ahead of line and fighting over space and people to install.

No one should have everyone focused on one car. Some installs are like 30 min jobs. Header (xA) 45min, Exhaust 30 min, Spacers 10 min, etc. etc.

We were planing on the possibility of two days anyway but I am not interested in doing this if the closer we get people start calling "reserved" or "mine 1st". It's just gonna screw up everything and end the whole damn point of an install meet.

Although we could incorporate a raffle for who goes 1st !

Also how bis is the area we have to work with? I might have to split this to smaller install at my house in LA.

Space is limited at the current location. I'm not even talking about the turbo install really. Having installed springs and the like at chris's house, it is an all day event. I'm not sure what your thinking will happen. There are roughly 5 or 6 peeps wanting parts installed. Tools alone will be an issue. Unless people are bringin their own tools to do the installs. And unless someone comes wheeling out a Snap-On tool chest, we'll be fighting over the tools (not really fighting lol). No one is going to want to bust ___ all day and night long installing stuff. I'm sure we all want to chat/drink/eat and have a good time. I think breaking this up into two smaller install meets is a good idea. IMO trying to squeeze all of this into one day will put the burden on Chris and his house. ya know.

you guys should probably work two or three cars per day, no more than 2 at a time. the tool issue alone would slow things down if everyone is working at the same time.

each meet should have a specific lineup of 2-3 cars ONLY to be worked on (to be decided using that raffle idea maybe?). other people can come and chill/help if need be.

then at the end of the meet, there can be a raffle for the next meet's installs.

hows that sound?

Ok, well I am not gonna argue about this anymore since people are not listening to me and Chris is not here to say anything.

I don't think your reading the posts cuase I just repeated again we planned on maybe 2 days. but even that will take some planning cuase some should show up day two to avoid 2 trips now that I think of it.

So far two people are "claiming" space and time on the day I am planing the install meet. This is selfish no matter how you word it since the many are more important than 2 people and I did not post this idea to do an install meet to have it fall apart.

So Lets hear whaty Chris has to say so we can get back on track or split it up or change the date (again) where "no one" can "reserve" time spots.

Nothing against you guys. I wanna put my stuff first also but I might not get any of my stuff done even though I want it done 1st.

Again if I have to have the smaller installs at my place I will try to do it.

I'm not sure what your talking about either. I have NOTHING to install. I'm simply there to help and chill. And I didn't think we were arguing, rather we are discussing the details. Can we agree that the list should be closed? I am just forseeing an issue with too many people wanting something installed and people leaving irritated that they drove from whereever to just watch when they wanted something put in. That makes sense right?

Edit: Also, did you miss the LOL after the "reserved" comment I made? I was being sarcastic

Ok, 1st.

you said "Truth be told, we've (Chris and I) have reserved Chris's garage LOL long before this was to take place"

This and the Turbo install made me think I was gonna have to fight for space and time. I was just frustrated and also had not seen some of the other posts since I took a while to write that one and got cut off line.

Sorry I got tense Thanks for being helpful jrodTc.

Yes the list will be closed now. I think we gave it enough time to accumulate and all that will happen is ALLOT of last minute peeps adding on.

Lets looks at the list again and see if we can't spread it for the 2 days

1. 06scioxb (HELP INSTALL)
2. sushixfish (help install and look JDM with his tow-ring-hook whatever you call it)
3. gorillastrengthrick (help install with his gorilla strength)
2. MmmBoxy (install wing, maybe clear headlights and debadge more...and help install) JUST STAND THERE LOOKING BEAUTIFUL!! (I second this La La La )
3. INFINI (Install Pulley and Spacers, and clearing out headlights) (Can help with exhaust/rear sway bar installs)
4. Mightygnu (Install my turbo... this is an all day event)
5. JrodtC (being jealous of mightygnu's turbo Cry )
6. haiduy (gauges , headers, motor mounts)
7. ryuji16 (spectating/eating)
8. MCoolU (Clearing out headlights)
9. AsNsTyLe3 (Crank Pulley and/or Springs)
10.martinezj_013 (tein s-techs)

Again thanks for all the ideas and help people are giving on this meet.
