At least Super Highway was more organized than the Beach run from Hollywood Scion. THAT was a total mess.

Winning is overrated. You learn that overtime.

Boyfriend has class on Tuesday nights but I'll see if he can get out cuz I've never attended a Scion Nights & I haven't been to Knotts since middle school, haha.

T, there was a height requirement then and there still is. Please wear 3-4" heels to be able to access the rides. See girl, I always got your back!

I hope I'm not out of line here and am not meaning to offend anyone. But being the fact I've worked the last three Scion Nights Event in some capacity, I feel I can say what I'm about to say. I'm writing this because every year after this event (and many others) drama seems to happen on this site and others as well. So, to make this years event more enjoyable, please consider the following:

- This is a FREE event that Scion is paying for. FREE means you pay nothing to get into the park and enjoy what other activities they have planned. It's not FREE for Scion but it is FREE to whoever decides to go on their dime. The world is not perfect so be patient if things don't go the way they have been planned. Keep this in mind when you think the world revolves around you and feel you have a right to talk down this FREE "it doesn't cost you but a $10 toy" event because you felt they should give you more tickets than you're entitled to, there wasn't enough of one thing that everyone else got, someone cut in front of you, it's not as organized as you would have liked, not enough food/water, etc. The way the auto industry is now, I'm surprised this promotional event got funded. Be happy.......it's FREE!!!!

- CHOICE- we all have a choice to attend this event or not. If something happens here short of death (and if you did die you wouldn't have a chance to complain anyhow), feel free to direct your gripe directly to Scion and not on the forums where you would ruin the great experience everyone else will have. It just creates drama going back and forth for people who agree with you and people who disagree with you.

- PLAN ahead and show up on time to designated areas. i.e. caravan. I know some people got mad at Scion because they got to the gate late/tickets ran out. And they blasted Scion for this? Come on...show up on time please. If you can't get off work/class in time to make this event, stay home and save yourself the stress. Really. Last year (I think) someone posted of how they were speeding and weaving through traffic to get to this event. Sorry, but many will agree with me that risking your life as well as others just ain't worth being killed or ending up a vegetable. And you may get a ticket from law enforcement instead of Scion. Also, put your antennas and center caps away if they can be stolen easily. And if you can, bring an ice chest with cold drinks for yourself in case the event runs out or something happens to their vendor. Just PLAN!

No one has to adhere to my rant, it's just a suggestion to make this experience more enjoyable for yourself. That's all. If you have issues with me posting this up, feel free to PM me and leave the drama out of this thread.

I will not be attending this year because of my health. I hope that everyone has a great time at the event. Like Edwin says, plan for anything and everything.

Yes, for every ticket given, there has to be a toy donated.
