KNOTTS BERRY FARM SCION NIGHT 2009 official announcement
I love how nobody knows how to do math.
They claimed that they will be giving away 12,000 tickets. The only way that they will not have tickets left after the caravan is if THREE THOUSAND (3,000) cars with 4 people each show up FOR A CARAVAN. YES, A THREE THOUSAND CAR CARAVAN. IT'S REALISTIC PEOPLE. VERY VERY REALISTIC. Even if there was a ONE THOUSAND CAR CARAVAN with 4 people in each car there would still be 8,000 tickets left when they arrive.
The only people that didn't get tickets in previous years were people that showed up at 6pm and later. All of these people came AFTER the deadline. Even then, I believe Scion only purchased 10,000 tickets in those previous years and still everybody that showed up ON TIME got a ticket. Also, there were people being greedy POS's and kept getting into other people's cars to get more tickets. This obviously will not be possible this time around unless they buy multiple gifts and still car hop with multiple gifts in hand.
Lastly, who cares about an RSVP. You're telling me Scion is going to print out their event attendee list off FB and match it to driver's licenses or something? What if my FB display name is "Hungry Hippo" and I RSVP'd. Does that mean I don't get in? All it probably is is a headcount so that Scion might have an idea of what to expect as far as attendance. Think of it as a roll-call.
WTF happened to people's common sense?
Seriously.
And now for the most IMPORTANT QUESTION.
"WILL THIS BE A SCARY FARM EVENT OR A BERRY FARM EVENT?!"
(We know it's a night event but is Scion really paying to have x amount of ghouls show up and work on a night that they wouldn't normally work)

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for all the enthusiasm about Scion Night. We’re really excited about this one, and we are glad you are too! A few quick answers to your questions…..
The Facebook page is now www.facebook.com/SoCalScion . Please go here for FAQ’s, etc. We would also appreciate you sharing this with everyone you think might be interested! There are a lot of rumors out there, and we want to make sure everyone has the right information. You will find the right information there.
Yes, EVERYONE must bring a toy, including drivers, people who “forgot”, and everyone in between. There is a Wal-Mart down the street if you need to buy a toy. Just pick us up some Portillo’s on your walk back!
This is a PRIVATE event. That means sorry, you can’t buy tickets. You show up in a Scion with a toy. This is a special SCARY farm (not Berry Farm), just for YOU. Oh, and 11,999 of your closest friends, as long as they come in a Scion and each have a toy. If you didn’t get a ticket or don’t want to bring a toy, you can still enjoy the parking lot festivities from 3-6:30 PM.
Do not expect to show up at the Caravan, grab a few tickets for your buddies, and leave. You must participate in the entire Caravan as a driver or passenger to get a ticket.
You do not have to Caravan to get a ticket. It will be fun, and (along with your toy) it will guarantee you a ticket, but if you can’t make the Caravan, all is not lost. You can still get a ticket by showing up in a Scion at Knott’s beginning at 3 PM with your toy, while the 12,000 tickets last.
Speaking of toys, dividing up a deck of cards between 52 of your friends does not give you 52 toys. C’mon, it’s for the kids. A new toy worth at least $10 toy please. Similarly, we are not “Antiques Roadshow” toy appraisers. Telling us you think a toy is worth $40 so we should give you four tickets does not work, but it will make some child happy. One toy is one toy.
RSVPing helps us plan appropriately so you can have the best time possible. It is not mandatory and we are not going to check your name against the guest list, but if we get 2 Caravan RSVP’s, and 1,000 people show up, well…….. yeah. If you’ve never used Facebook before, it’s free. You might even find some other Scion owners to connect with.
Bring money for concessions, games, parking, etc.
This is a fun event for a lot of people. Let’s all do our part to make sure that happens. One ticket per person. Getting more than one ticket per person, ticket scalping, reckless behavior, drugs, or intoxication will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave.
Thanks for all of your support, and we'll see you on the 20th!

^^i think this clears up alot of questions, i know im going to miss the caraban cuz of setup....
I know.
I'm sorry this site is incapable of showing pop-up pictures so you can understand what I was saying.
Trying to get everyone to be Filipino?
Irwindale opens at 10 am. Prepay your Knott's parking here and get your flag to display during the caravan. The flag is the only way you're getting into Knott's parking early. We are LEAVING Irwindale at noon. Don't get left behind! RSVP for your CAR only (individual passengers don't need to RSVP), so we know how many vehicles we will have. -Copied from the Scion SoCal facebook page

Hope that helps..
So is this event going to be a KNOTTS "SCARY" FARM ??? or a KNOTTS BERRY FARM ??? IM hearing from people that on Oct. 20, there is no Knott's SCARY farm going on at KNOTTS BERRY FARM that night. Its only the regular KNOTTS BERRY FARM theme park. Is that true? I need to make sure what the facts are.
Thanks in advance
