Know a good place that will install ground effects kit?
Hi, my name is Victor and I just purchased an 07 Scion TC. My friend regularly visits this website and told me how helpful the site has been for him and his xB. Anyways I just purchased the OEM ground effects kit and wanted to find a place to get it installed. I've tried calling the dealerships for a good bodyshop but all the places they've recommended has admittted to me that they never installed the OEM kit before. Anyways, I was hoping someone on this forum knows of a good place around my area that can install it properly. I live in the Carson area. Thanks for the help.
Did you check with Cabe toyota and Scion in the LBC? I know they do alot of stuff.

Well, I finally found a place around my area and got my ground effets kit installed. Just to share my experience, I ended up purchasing the ground effects kit from Carson Scion. They have a website with some good prices:

Whats nice about them is you can opt to call them directly and order the parts over the phone and just pick up the parts from their dealership directly to avoid shipping charges. You still gotta pay tax though.
The shop I got my kit installed was Bay Cities Auto Body (310- 326-3740). They are a couple blocks away from Carson Scion. I ended up paying $325.00 for the installation. This is my first time modifying a car and I'm mechanically inclined, so I'm not sure if I paid a good price or not but it was the cheapest I found from a shop.
Let me know if you guys think I got a decent deal. The next thing I want to do is get the TRD springs and strut & shock installed but I'm still trying to find a good place to intall them. Dealerships want to charge me over $500 which I thought was too much.

so you paid about $1200 for the kit and installation? thats about what most dealers charge when you buy the kit with the car. i installed my kit, which took me about 5 hours by myself. $75 per hour is typical shop labor rate, so $325 isnt bad.
