Well, I'm not going for best of show. I'm just aiming for mild class. I also forgot. I'm also going to put an exhaust with gold plated piping, intake, Sun Auto grounding stuff, strut bars, stickers, visors, and neon (maybe). I know its not a lot of stuff, but then again, I don't want to look like a stock box with wheels, lol.

Think of it this way, I want it to be at a level with Cassidy's box. I saw it in person once, wow, that is the way I'm going to build my box.

Yes, I'm going to compete against his car, but, at the same time, I respect him and his car, so I'm going to say to him, "u are going to lose." I just want to prove myself that I can build a "show" car in a little amount of time.

I'm going to set up a display with a teahouse in the back ground.................well, I'm going all out on the display........................can I set up the display the day I have to roll in or do i have to wait until the day of the show?
Thanks for the mention guys!!!

Teabox, we did win for display at both LA and San Mateo HIN's there are cash prizes I thinkthey are like 1st $400 or $500, 2nd $250 and 3rd $150.

Oh, the most important thing to remember is the award is for best Lighted display not just display so make sure you use some cool lighting too.

those were the only 2 we made before the fire.

Thanks for the info. I'm not aiming for the best display, just maybe a "wow, that is a nice display." I know lighting is the ELEMENT for a display. I just need to plan out everything.

That is probably one of the best boxes ever. Too bad it got in fire. I think it was involved in garage fire, right. I read it somewhere in here a while ago. Some say it was done intentionally. Some say other stuff. Good thing I have pics of that box. I even have those hanging on my wall for inspiration on my project, .

I'm somewhat calling u out, lol. I have mad respect for u though, so its all good. I know I won't get to a level as ur box, but just being able to compete against the "best mild xB" will be an honor, . But yea, I respect what u have done. I'll say hi to u (maybe if I'm happy that day, lol, jk) at the show and pour sand on ur car just so u can share that "best mild" to me, .

Naw, I won't. lol. I'll say hi and maybe u can show me some pointers for the next time I show.

Ok, quick question

SM's 002's or stay with my gold spun wheels?

Thanks. I'm going crazy what wheels to get. Once I get that taken care of, its all out on buying gear for the box.

Thanks for the site Ryan. There are some JDM-ish influence rims on that site, so I'll see what happens. Thanks

Travis has my same taste, . I was looking at those too. Anything with gold is in for me.

I can't afford Volks or Works, so those are out of the question, unless I can get a mad hookup or a sponsorship,

you shouldn't have to worry if you get these, my chrome 18's were $760 for the whole set so I don't see why those 15's should be anything more than that. And now mine aren't even in production any more :D or maybe that would be *crosses fingers*

I might just buy the gold ones and SM's 002 for the heck of it. They should be cheap.

Well, I'm done for today. Project teabox, 2morrow. Week 17th is around the corner...

yea i know, lots of folks said all kinds of stuff when it happen. but the reality was we were between insurance companies due to the value we listed on the cars (two Burned) and had no insurance at the time of the fire.

Im Glad that it is helping inspire you ... we miss that ride for sure.
