Run the Loop for Lupus 5K run/walk
Hey guys! I just found out about this! It's something that I really want to do. Not only for myself, but for everyone that goes through what I go through. Please help and support! It would mean so much to me. This walk is to help raise money for research on Lupus! We gotta find a cure!

Date: Saturday, April 21, 2007
Location: University of La Verne, Sneaky Park, La Verne CA
Time: Registration opens at 6:30 a.m. Race begins at 8 a.m.
Registration Fee: $10-students, $15-Adults, $20-walk-up registration
Packet Pick-up: Sneaky Park, Friday, April 20, 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Join the La Verne community in participating in its first, "La Verne Loop" 5k run/walk on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 8 a.m. at University of La Verne's Sneaky Park. The event encourages participants of all ages to participate in an event with the emphasis on fun and personal achievement.
"La Verne Loop" is a fun run/walk that was inspired by two ULV seniors, Jamie Mahoney and Gabby De La Cruz. Jamie, who developed Lupus at 15, has made it a goal to coordinate an event that will help others like her. The run will help raise money to fund vital research to find the causes and cure of Lupus as well as create awareness about the disease.
Race participants will receive a free t-shirt and free run bag filled with sponsor products.
Trophies will be awarded to the top male and female runners. Awards also will be given to the top three fund raisers. Please note that the fun run will not be a closed course.
The generosity of your registration fee has begun your fight against Lupus, but don't stop there! Set a fundraising goal and keep pushing towards a cure. Ask family members, friends and even co-workers to join in the fight against Lupus and remember that every little bit does make a difference.
We hope to see you at the fun run to support such an important cause. Registration can be done through the mail, over the phone or online
