Revlon Run/Walk 2006

While most of you will be at TORC in Long Beach, Scion Driven Girls - So CaL will be out helping the community and participating in the 13th Annual Revlon Run/Walk for women. This is a 5k run/walk that raises awareness and critical funds for women's cancers research, counseling and outreach programs. We all have sisters, girlfriends, daughters, mothers, etc who could sometime in their life be affected by cancer.

I will be attending as well for my gf's mother who passed away from breast cancer. Though i would love to attend TORC, i think this is for a more important cause; Please supoprt to fight for the cure.

 

Looking forward to the walk. I'll be walking for my grandma who is a survivor of breast cancer and many other cancers.

i may attend this, my mother passed away of breast cancer July 3rd..2005.

she was diagnosed with stage 4, and for those of you that dont know... that is the final stage, so basically she was doomed to begin with, but my whole family and i supported her, and she live 3 months longer than she was "SUPPOSED" to

I don't know if I'll be walking with you guys or not, it's my friend's birthday that weekend and I might be in the desert...things are still up in the air. If I'm not walking, I'll definately donate, though.

the traffic to the coliseum was awful!

But I was glad that it was cloudy until the last mile.

And props to Evelyn and David for jogging the last mile! woo hoo!

 

The traffic down there is always horrible. I want to chew my arm off in frustration every time I have to go into LA for somethig.
