I may not know the full story as to whats going one but if this guy one a prize and was entitled to it then he should've received it in anyway shape or form. Doesn't matter wether he spent a $1 or $1000. I for one should know how it feels to be expecting something wether won or paid for and still not receiving it. Keep in mind that this is an open forum and if he feels the need to express his exprience then by all means he should. I agree that there's a way to go about it but it shouldn't be an issue of this kid expressing his feelings. I'm sure if tables were turned a lot of you would have similar emotions.

 

The heading of your topic is pretty offensive to ME and all those SE members not involved with this situation. Please remember that SE a nationwide club and so what's happening in one aream others may not know about.

As most people know who have been around from day one that Scion Evolution has probably given more shows and prizes through out the years than anyone in the whole Scion culture. Keith is a stand up guy..I'm sure his intension were for the good..but there are times when sponsors or manufacturers do not always come through all the way, but we do what we can to get what we can, if promised.

This post is totally uncalled for if you've already spoken with him, it is totally ignorant on your part to call all of SE out on this as each chapter is like a franchise and takes care of their own area.

There is no need from SE's higher ups to get in contact with you, we are sure Keith can handle this situation.

I would also suggest that an SL mod lock this thread before the mud slinging gets any worse.

From the looks of it Keith already said he's working on getting the rest of the stuff to him to get the problem resolved and emailed all those involved and he still wasn't happy and decided to bash some more right after Keith posted. This just sounds either one of two things he wants the sympathy vote along with all the attention that brings or he wanted to subliminally call out SE with the header he put. If you read all the posts we didn't even take offense to it in the beginning and were more supportive than anything. I understand the whole getting your side out but when someone says theyre rectifying the issue that's where this thread should have stopped but he went the other route and dousted the flame with more fuel. So now its lead to more drama that we don't need.

We do not censor our members here as long as they are within the rules...especially just because someone doesn't like the topic... on the other hand it would have been ok to post it on the SE forum? Why? So nobody else sees it? He is entitled to share his thoughts and opinions and SE folks have the right to rebuke/rebut his position....

As most of you know i am an avid raffle prize contestant and winner. Apart of the raffle is the joy of winning a prize on sheer luck. Though we must also understand that things do not always go exactly as planned.

I say this as a member of the scion community and as a friend of most of you. Let us drop this and let the men be men and work this out with out any hard feelings against each other or teams against teams.

Being that We/SK have been victims of Slander on this very forum also, I can totally see how offensive this post is to the Members of SE.

Although I do appreciate you trying to get your Grand Prize(as you should), and you have tried relelntlessly to contact SE's High Desert Chapter, maybe this post could have been written in a different manner.
More of like a call for help or advice with this situation as opposed to a stright up slam on the whole club.

I'm sure you are frustrated, and it may take some time but I have complete confidence in SE to work the problem out and right the wrong that has happened by no fault of theirs. But Patience here is a virtue, and if you all could grant each other some understanding, this situation will be taken care of before long.

why accept money for a raffle, if the item itself wasnt in posession with SE in the first place? thas like me selling sumthing on ebay for $xxx.xx amount of dollars and then telling the buyer, oh u have to wait 6 months for it bc i havent received the actual item im selling, but here i have a part of it and then tell them oh nah i cant give u the rest i never got it. thats also like ptunings raffles right now, no matter what the price is ur taking in money to give away an item. ptuning had numerous things donated for there TA car, they even raffeled off one of there own exhausts too.
