Hey guys did you hear that scion corp. is planning an Scion Expo style event for Las Vegas ? I was reading about it over in D&S and also saw it on the signup on scionetics.com... apparently its going to be a huge event so much so that Scion corp got involved... check it out.

 

yes! we need more people to sign up so scion can see that people are interested in going.

 

Last years Vegas Expo was hosted by the Denver region. It was held at the Hard Rock Cafe.

Most of the Scion events are sponsored by their respective regions. Most of the Scion Corp. sponsored events will be posted on their website www.scion.com

That would be cool to see a lot of people go to Vegas since last year's event did not have the turn out they were looking for.

Expect to have a So-Cal event in October/Novemer (at Knotts Berry Farm)

This one is sponsored by the LA Region. There is a new Regional Manager now and it would be nice to show him how we do things in SoCal.

To date, the Knotts Berry Farm Exposed Event is the largest known gathering of Scions in the nation.

It started out as a D&S regional event in conjunction with SoCal, but then Scion started to pick up on the event, they are still wanting to see who is interested(as far as numbers), and they are using Scionetics.com so go sign up there. So far there are 8 signed up for SoCal and 38 for AZ so we need more people from CA to signup I know there a lot more that 7 people in the LA area that want to do this early summmer Vegas run.

 

I already posted this elsewhere but I'll add it here too.

I sent out an email yesterday for sponsors and have had two sign-up so far. I'm not sure how many cars showed up at Knotts in the past but we fully intend to blow that record out of the water.

Then we promise to help set a new one, in October, at Knotts!

Let's go California. Off yer butts and onto Vegas with us. It'll be fun plus we're shooting for $12,000.00 in prizes to give away.

 

Got sponsors 3 and 4. So far we're over $6000.00 in prizes.

Haven't even approached any tuner companies yet.

i believe there were over 1700 scions at knotts last year...

 

I've been in touch with the Denver Scion Regional Manager as well as the Los Angeles Scion Regional Manager.

A conference call was scheduled to see if we can get a huge turn out in Las Vegas.

There is an event in Las Vegas that would be a perfect opportunity to schedule an Expo such as the one at Hard Rock Cafe last year.

I'll post any updates once I hear from any of the Regionals or Scion Corporation directly.
