Anyone recommend a good place to bring in my Scion for servicing (oil change, etc.)

Hamer Toyota in North Hills i know does a good job, i can't say if other dealers are good or bad because i have never dealed with others before

 

Just be careful with dealerships and any other darn place in LA. Most places try to tag other services and if you say no they make you feel guilty. I NEVER take my car to the dealer unless I have to.

However if Catarino (AcidDrop) says Hamer Toyota does a good job I would take his word for it. Nothing is better than real life experience and that's what he shared.

Hamer did an ok job.

Just that when they rotated my tires they switched them so they aren't in the directional pattern right now

 

^thanks James, oil changes i do myself but tire rotation, alignments and other things that you need those machines for i take it there and it's usually on a short notice and still get serviced and my car back the same day. my teammates go there as well for services like that and it's one of the closes dealer to us all.

 

that is the thing with directional tires, on the 2nd rotation they end up backwards but you can always ask them to turn the tires around.

I was raised on the upper west side on Manhattan in NYC.

 

oil changes are easy enough to do it yourself.

 

My "mait reqd" light is on :-(

 

Me and anyone that meets me knows I'm from NYC (Brooklyn).

Out in LA for a bit and need to get the car serviced. No time to do it myself.

Just looking for a reputable dealer to get an oil change, a look over.

Any suggestions?
