My girlfriend has a 2008 tC, and I don't know a damn thing about it.

I'm here to learn a little about it, and maybe find a solution as to why her sunroof is fubar'd.

Anyways, I have a lowered 2nd gen Tacoma.

I haven't had a chance to look at it, but she said it came off the track.

Then, against my advice, she went to the stealership and had them close it for the low low price of only $200.

 

I have a couple quick questions as well:

2008+ is the 2nd gen tC, correct?

And

Are there different body packages? She says it's stock, but it doesn't look like any other tC front end I've ever noticed before. I'll try and snap a pic.

 

no, tc2 is 2011

and if she bought a limited release stock, then the body style will look different than a regular tc

can tell you for sure if you had pics

^ Thats the RS 4 only made like 2300 of them or so...

I live right across from the Q and gf lives in La Mesa. What does your tC look like?

yea they are rare, as TeeCizzle mentioned, only 2300 were made for that specific version.

if you look on the dash, you'll see a number telling you which 2300 you have.

besides the color and interior features, the lower body kid is unique for this year's RS.

 

I use to live next to Qualcomm too!...I live in Carlsbad now..I do attend car meets down south..Theress one at the beginning of each month at the Pat n Oscars parking lot right there by the Q.

Not really a thread thats current..it takes place the same time as the All-Wheel Junkies Car Meet too.

Its the 1st Thursday Night of each month...start around 7pm to whenever.
