I'm totally down for this. I think meeting at Oxnard and then continuing onto Santa Maria is probably best. And the idea of xA's and xD's joining is a good idea fo sho.

The decals for the last cruise were designed by one of our guys.

Hold on with the date, Philip got ahold of SM and they said they are really wanting to have part in this event but the date is a no go for them but they also said for sure October and Philip will have an exact date this month.

 

Just checked the email and DCH Scion of Oxnard did respond back and they were wondering what we want from them. I said maybe music, stacks, and or drinks. Will that work?

If there will be a show at Santa Maria, with at stop at Oxnard. Will Oxnard want to put in music food and beverages if we are only gonna hang out for a while and then take off to Santa Maria?

We also don't want to keep Santa Maria waiting all day for us. The TC Cruise ended at a Dealer in San Diego and I was told by one of our members that when they pulled in, the DJ was packing up ready to go home. this is why I suggested 2 cruises, 1 from the south and one from the north meeting at Oxnard.

At the XB Cruise, more than half of the XBs called it a day at the midway point in Cypress and did not continue on to Carlsbad.

This is going nowhere. LOL. There's too many hands involved. When a new thread comes up for this on a set date location meet/end, then I'll decide what to do. No offense to anyone, but it's not that hard. The cruise does not have to start or end at a dealership. It can start at a rest area and end at the beach for example.

 

this is true - maybe we should make oxnard the meet spot- quick cruise for both sides and plenty of time in the afternoon at the dealer

 

You're right. Too many hands in the kitchen here.
The first XB Cruise was in January. We(SK) weren't really planning on setting up another one and if we do it will be next January.

However, if someone sets this one up, of course we're down to cruise!

Theres really not many people in the kitchen handling things. We are just waiting on Scion of Santa Maria to give us a day. I mean October is not a bad idea due to the fact it gives us enough time to get the word out.

 

you have more than enough time bro, just dont depend on the dealership, go somewhere else if all else fails. Dont tell me that the only thing in Santa Maria is a Toyota dealership? LOL. How bout a family fun center, bowling alley, arcade, mall, strip club......etc. hahaha. These places would love to have our business. Have back ups man is what I'm saying and not just focus on 1 thing.

 

Thats true well if Philip doesnt hear anything back from Toyota of SM this week I'll find something.

Santa Maria is our home dealership. I'll call Carl. I know of all kinds of places we could end up at as well. We ended at the Chumash Casino for our pride drive. Only prob with that is if you are under 18 or bringing the kids it will be a hassle to get in.
