Default soundsystem

I know my head unit has pre outputs for an amp and subwoofer....but what about for the sound (highs) speakers? can i put an amp for my speakers and/or get new speakers? or will i need a new head unit that can support all this? 2012 scion tc, pioneer ALCP-W12U T1819 (stock) please help!

yes you can run an amp for your high"s but the amp might be over kill for the stock speakers they are not that strong for anything throwing over 50 watts rms per speaker output on the amp....recomend getting some componets sets and that would make it way better and then just tune the amp and stereo to ur feel hope this helps
