Default Thanks AEM/DC! **Updated with video clip**

I love the new 4-1 header. I think my Fave part is that it's CARB legal, or exempt. The header gives a lot of pull in the higher range RPMs. It almost got me introuble last night, I was driving on the freeway, by feel like I usually do, and She (my car) was pulling like it usually does at 75-80, the only difference is that I was about 100 at the time. As soon as I noticed that, I slowed down, of course, but I like the pull and can't wait to get her on the track.

The exhaust note is a bit deeper, and sounds mean when you let off. There's a bit of low rumble at about 1,500 RPM that I really like. I guess when I get my intake and exhaust, I'll really feel a difference. I got some vid of the headers and the exhaust note, but can't load them till tomorrow.
Thanks again to:
AEM/DC for the great product.
Old Dave Yeller for giving us/me the heads up,
Steve Sakko, for letting me go in your place,
My Fiance for driving to Corona with me to drop off my car,
Albert (Berto) Batman, for driving me to Corona to pick up my car,
Mitch at DC for the License plate frame and the "DC Sports" badge.
and most of all, XcelsiA for keeping me in the scene, and helping with my last visit to St Joes.

xBRIANx

I don't know how I forgot Ken, but He set all this up, Big Thanks! Sorry I forgot you.

**Edit**
not as ricey in person as sounds here (clicky), But I do like the sound in the vid too.

Good Deal. Did they fit an intake on your car to see if it would fit? I dont think they have a CARB legal intake yet for the 06s...........

Nope just the Header, Axel back, and a strut bar (not sure if front or back) I hope front. I could have had either of the 4 (intake too) and picked the header, just cause. For my application, I would prefer a 4-2-1 for the low-mid range gains, but I'll get that when/if I get a turbo. I think with a lightweight pulley, intake, exhaust and some light rims, I'll be happy real happy with the performance.

Nice! I had no idea that the DC header was CARB legal!

I was going to hold out for a 4-2-1, but now I may have to rethink that... Can you feel the extra pick-up around town, or do you have to get it on the highway and open it up before you really feel the gains?

mostly on the highway, but anytime you get up to 5k or so, you'll notice. Other people might not, but the owner opperator will.

having some trouble with the video, not sure when it will be uploaded, but those at the the Claremont show tomorrow will get to see it/ hear it.

"CARB legal"
Yeah, I have the CARB EO sticker in my ashtray right now, dunno where to put it yet.

Is the DC Headers CARB legal for the 07 tC? Do they even have it for the 07 tC?

no Carb legal intakes or headers for the tC. Each year has to be passed for the CARB license. No AEM intakes legal for 06 boxes at least not yet.
